"Tonight on our broadcast, an update on a mysterious house fire. Was it just an accident? Or was it a cover-up?In a turn of events, a child, only ten years of age, was found at the scene of the alleged crime.

"This and other news to-"

The TV was shut off. Two men were in a room. One sat at a desk with a custom-fit suit; the other standing in front of the desk wearing what could be described as his "Sunday's best".The man at the desk turned to look at the other. The man standing was scared by this point.

"One simple task. Kill everyone inside and set the house on fire. How simple is that?"The man at the desk, the boss, asked.

"Really simple, but-," the other man started but was interrupted.

"But here I am barely finding out that the brat survived the 'accident'!" he said through his teeth," And right before I was to congratulate you on a job well done. And now....now you're probably pissing your pants thinking about what I'll do to you." By this time the boss was standing, hands on his desk.

"It's 'cause when you told me to kill everyone I assumed they would all be adults. You never told me one of them was a kid. Please forgive me. Please, I'll do anything," the man pleaded.

"It's okay," the boss said calmly.

The man was surprised and confused. He thought he would have to beg for his life."That's it?"he asked.

"Yeah, that's it. Tell me: do you have any children of your own?"the boss asked in return.

"Um...no sir,"the man replied

"None whatsoever?"

"Not that I know of. Why do you ask, sir?"

BLAM! A sharp pain hit the man, and he fell to the ground. The boss, a gun in his hand, was slowly walking toward the man who was now trying to crawl away.

"So no one will come looking for me to get revenge," the boss said. He then shot the man dead.

He walked back to his desk and picked a hankerchief to wipe his prints from the gun. Next he buzzed for a guard to come in and take the body from the room and to schedule a cleaner.

"Oh, and Tony?"

"Yes, sir?" Tony, the guard, asked.

"Get someone to find the boy. We don't want him to go to the assassins, now do we?"

"No, sir."

"Then get to it,"the boss said. After that Tony left with the body, mumbling to himself,"Like that'll ever happen"
