"Where are you keeping the champagne?". Giulia called while she was half way into the kitchen cabinet with her upper body. "Jesus, can you get in there any further?". Daniel laughed as he came into the kitchen, seeing her standing on a chair because she was too petite to look into the cabinet else way. "Probably". She replied and he helped her down the chair by wrapping and arm around her hips and put her safely on the ground. "By the way, I'm keeping it right here". Daniel shoved the chair away and opened the cabinet under the counter, making her sigh and roll her eyes.

"It's Jemma's favorite". Daniel mentioned as he checked the etiquette on the bottle. "Won't she mind?". Giulia asked with a mouth full of M&M's. "Nah, I can buy her a new bottle". He shrugged and the two moved into the living room. She had thrown some blankets and pillows on the couch, sitting down in the middle as she snatched the remote from the table to select Netflix on the flat screen TV. "Careful". He warned as he handed her the glass he had poured her, not wanting it to spill all over the cushions and blankets. "Snaaaacks". Giulia whined and he laughed. "Patience, woman".

Daniel sunk down in the couch with her, placing the bowl of crisps between them and handing her the bag of M&M's she already started on. Giulia ate some more of the chocolate snacks and selected the horror movie on Netflix that was supposed to scare you that much so you wouldn't be able to sleep. "Really, Gules? You used to scream about those movies like you were a little girl". Daniel snorted and she gave him a look. "Maybe because I was a little girl back then? Or are you too scared to watch this movie?". Giulia shot back and he shrugged.

"Just let it play and we'll see". She nodded in response and clicked the button to let the movie play. Daniel relaxed in the couch and slung his arm over the back of it. Giulia pulled her hair out of the elastic wrapper that kept her thick hair together, her hands spreading it out over the back of the couch and also over his hand. He automatically twirled some of the strands between his fingers. Daniel's cheeks heated up and he slightly glanced over to see if she noticed, but she luckily didn't. The movie wasn't very scary at first, just the moment of the three girlfriends sitting in a circel with a Ouija board and the glass of the girl called Veronica broke, while she zoned out, made Giulia gasp softly.

"The nun is a bit creepy, it reminds me of The Conjuring 2". She mentioned and he nodded, even though he had never seen that movie before. Giulia spread her legs out over her side of the couch, placing the bowl of popcorn they didn't eat anyway on the ground, so she could lean into her friend's side. Daniel quickly untangled her fingers from her hair and lifted his arm further so she had the space. He looked down at her as her eyes were focused on the TV and a small smile curled his lips. A warm feeling spread through his chest and he felt as if he laid his eyes on her when she came into the school gym where the yearly gala was held.

Giulia was always late and he cursed her once again that she was even late on events like these. Just once a year she had to be on time, the gala of the school. He was just 15 years old, his braces were stuck in his mouth and his mother had to do his hair and he was dressed up in some chique suit that made other girls wave at him in a flirty manner. Being the young teen, he didn't care about girls yet. He didn't even enter puberty yet as boys were simply always later with that stage as girls. But one girl he did care about, was Giulia Spinelli. His best friend since forever. The doors opened once again and he barely looked over, thinking it was another girl.

His eyes shot back at her, it was Giulia in the door way. Wearing a beautiful evening dress that had a deep v-neck, putting an accent on her already shaped body and a pair of heels on her feet he'd never thought she would wear. Daniel's jaw almost dropped to the ground as this was the first time a girl had ever got him this starstruck, the first time a girl ever got his heart to beat as crazy as now and the butterflies to fly as wild this through his stomach as they did at that moment. "Bello, you're catching flies, are you going to get me something to drink or what?". Giulia's smile and playful tone pulled him back to the world and he smiled back, taking her hand.
