"You're in my blood, you're in my veins, you're in my head".

"Your face, oh my god, it's the most hilarious thing I've seen in ages". Giulia giggled as she wiped her eyes. The media team of Red Bull Racing finished the video in which Giulia pranked Daniel in Austria, the promo video was just launched on the social media pages of the Formula 1 team and it was showed on the big screen during the briefing. Daniel huffed and rolled his eyes, however he still smiled at her. The video was indeed funny and he still couldn't get over how he absolutely hadn't recognized her in the beginning.
"I was scared for my own life when you pulled up and got to hundred an hour in three seconds, okay, could you not laugh at me like that?". Daniel mocked and crossed his arms over his chest, causing some more chuckles and laughs to erupt at the table of engineers and mechanics. "Do you need some therapy, Daniel?". Christian came in and grinned as he heard the last words of the Australian. "Especially after seeing the lap times Giulia pushed out during the practices last Friday". Pyry shot Giulia a wink, which made her giggle a bit.
Daniel looked over at the Italian, her hazelnut hues lighting up with joy and a brief moment, he found himself lost in the beauty of her eyes and smile. He swallowed hard and looked in front of him again. Christian clicked the video away and showed some other statistics of the previous activities on the track of Silverstone. It was race day today and the preparations would start in a few, which made the team boss quickly slide through the dia's to emphasize points of improvement and what he expected of his drivers today.
"Is he always like that?". Giulia whispered as she looked at Max, who had his eyes closed as if he was sleeping. Daniel followed her eyes to his teammate and grinned. "Yeah, he's not asleep. 'He can drink in the information better that way'". Daniel quoted and Giulia let out a huff of air, biting on her lower lip to not talk too much through Christian's speech. The meeting came to an end and the group of team members spread through the hospitality to prepare themselves for the coming race. Daniel and Sam moved away for the stretching routine.
Giulia sprayed some deodorant under her shirt as she freshened up a slight bit. She took her coat and shivered as she should've taken a thicker one. She was used to the warm, Italian weather, but the countries they visited for the European races had only delivered her a cold wind and some rain. The Italian dug her hands in her pockets and watched how the mechanics prepared everything in, on and around the car. Her headphones already dangled around her neck, ready go cover her ears and tell her everything during the race.
Max was already in the other side of the pit box, looking cool as ever. Giulia started to admire that cool toned aura around the Dutch driver. He seemed to let it all wash over him and just do whatever he could. It sounded very simple, but Giulia knew it wasn't that easy to take that kind of posture and really live up to it. Daniel on the otherside, he was very energetic and she loved that about him too. He was bouncing from his left foot to his right as the mechanics prepared his car, the curls on his head dancing along with his movements. Sam handed him his balaclava and helmet, which pushed his curls now flat on his head.
Daniel secured his helmet under his chin and slid his hands in his gloves, turning to get into the car. His eyes caught Giulia's and he briefly waved at her, which made her smile and wave back. She looked forward to see him race more and more everytime, however this weekend, she was more looking forward to their get together at his house in Monaco tonight. Giulia blushed as it was probably a stupid thought, yet their Netflix & Snacks night was something they used to do on a very regular basis. She and Pierre almost never watched Netflix together, he was more into going to the cinema or going out to eat instead of staying at home.
