"Your sunsets go on be-falling. Ever since I can recall. The only sense, of permanence in this dying world".

Giulia's ponytail twirled from left to right as she ran over the streets of Monaco. Pierre was still sleeping when she woke up an hour ago and she was glad about that. She wanted to have a moment for herself and make her head a bit clear. She was glad Pierre had come to her to apologize, seeing he was the one who acted a bit too dramatic. Her run led her over the beach and back towards to the centre, deciding she could stop by her friend who worked at Starbucks. She slowed down before she reached the coffeeshop, letting her muscles could down calmly. Giulia pushed the doors open and a whiff of fresh coffee blew her way.

A few students were seated behind a table with their laptops and a big mug of coffee, making her smile a bit as she walked over to the counter. "My favourite customer returned". The girl behind the counter mentioned and smiled as she noticed her friend came in. "Heather, good to see you again". Giulia replied. "I assume you want the usual?". Heather asked, already grabbing a cup to scribble down the drink Giulia wanted. "If you can remember it". The Italian teased and the girl laughed. "That's your fault, you should stop by more often". She waved her pen at Giulia and put it on the counter behind her, so the other barista could start mixing the her Mango drink.

"That's a bit difficult when you're in Austria one week and then three days later in the UK". Giulia chuckled and pushed her phone case aside so she could grab her card to pay. "And Pierre, of course". Heather wiggled her eyebrows and ticked away on the computer. Giulia rose her eyebrows as paid the amount for a small cup, yet she ordered a medium one. "Fave customer discount". Heather whispered and winked, making the brunette giggle and shake her head. "But the job's good? You're living the travellers life?". Heather leaned her elbows on the counter to hear everything her friend had to say.

"My job is amazing". Giulia let out a soft sigh. "They offered me a contract to become Red Bull's third driver last weekend, so they definitely see potention in me". She smiled. "I have no idea what a third driver is compared to what you were earlier, but it's sounds great". Giulia laughed at her comment and told further to explain it. "I started as a development driver, so I was supposed to get a couple tests and free practices, but the practice in Silverstone was apparently that good, so when Max or Daniel isn't able to drive, I'll be the first one to hop into the car". Heather squealed at what her friend told her. "I always said you'd become famous with that talent of yours, Giula".

The barista popped a strap into Giulia's drink and shoved it over the counter. Giulia gladly took the cold smoothie and took a sip from it. "Let's sit, I can have a break anyway". Heather waved her colleague away and the two girls moved to sit at a table in the corner of the coffeeshop. "How's Daniel? And Pierre? Two guys in your life now, oh my god!". She exclaimed and Giulia shook her head with a smile. "Just Pierre. We moved in together a couple weeks ago and Daniel and I are still great friends". Her lips twitched a slight bit at what she told herself, remembering how nice last night had been until Pierre called her.

"But...". Heather knew Giulia long enough to sense that there was something Giulia wasn't telling her. The Italian sighed deeply now and fiddled a bit with the strap in the cup. "I think Pierre assumes I immediately fall in love with Daniel when we're spending time together or something". She started. "Like, yesterday night, Daniel and I were just having a movie night because Pierre would fly over from Japan today, but he got an early flight and he shifted into maximum overdrive because I wasn't home and didn't leave a note where I would be". Heather blinked a couple times. "You rarely have fights with Pierre".

Giulia nodded. "Exactly, it made me feel so sick inside. I hate it. I just wanted an evening with a friend I haven't seen for such a long time". She added and her friend nodded in agreement as she could understand how she felt. "But you and Daniel though, he has the girlfriend you don't like that much, right?". Heather leaned her head on her hands. "Jemma, yes, she's nice I guess. But she also thinks I'm here to steal her man". She rolled her eyes and Heather giggled. "Anyways, Daniel and I are better than ever, it feels like the gap of ten years is barely a day. He has barely changed, It's...". Heather gave her a look and Giulia stopped mid-sentence.
