So, I'm bisexual and most of my friends know but no one in my family knows except for my sister because she overheard me talking to myself. And now my little brother knows because I made a joke.
This is how it happened:
I was waiting for the bus on the way home from school and I saw my brother and his friend walk past, so I ran to catch up with them. They were talking about their superhero names or something. Like 10 minutes later we somehow got talking about gay stuff (that's what my brother's friend said). Anyways, he was going to his friends house and I was going the other way and instead of saying 'See you later' I said (even though it was verbal, you could still see the pun) 'Bi, See you straighter' and I cracked up. My brother and his friend shouted something, but I was already walking away so I didn't hear what they said.
I think they found it funny because I heard them laughing.
Anyways, that was one way to come out.

Also another funny story. My English teacher made the same Star Wars reference four times. We were doing some poetry and there was this one poem about resistance or something and she said 'Resistance is futile" four times. It was funny because she didn't even though she was making one. And there were only two other people in my class who thought of Star Wars because I saw the look on their faces.
