Louis's POV
It's been a few months since the whole.. dinner thing. It happened in August, and its now December. My birthmonth. Yippee. Dont get me wrong, im excited about turning 18 finally, but Im a year, if not 2 years older than everyone in my class, and that can be very annoying. I looked around at the snowy scenery around me and smiled. It's beautiful. The trees are covered with white, the snow on the ground is piled high while the ice shines beautifully everywhere you look. It.. It almost looks like one of those movie scenery's that you see in romantic films, you know? That type that makes you go ouuu and ahhhh. I kept smiling as I trudged through the snow to get to the park to meet up with some friends. It was a cool Saturday evening and my family were out of town, all of them packed up and just left me at home without a key and very, very lonely. Luckily, I'm a pretty cheeky lad and got a key copied. I know my Mum's still mad at me for what I did. She hasnt looked or even talked to me. She sends my sister's or my stepdad into the room to tell me what she said. But I mean, come on, that's no reason to leave me behind in the cold while you all go to the Bahamas. I rolled my eyes at the thought and kept walking. Gosh, why does it always have to be so cold here?! I mean, a little heat would be nice. I finally found a Starbucks and walked in.
"Hello and welcome to Starbucks!" A girl behind the counter called to me. I smiled and nodded and looked at the menu. What to get, what to get. I looked at the girl behind the counter then back up at the menu.
"Need help, sir?" She asked pleasently.
"Did I ask for help?" I replied back a bit hastly. She pursed her lips and sighed then nodded. I rolled my eyes and looked back at the menu. I pursed my lips at all the different choices. Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha sounds really good.. But, so did everything else. I huffed and rubbed my face then finally made a decision.
"Yeah, I'll think I'll have just a hot chocolate." Plain but simple.
The women nodded and started putting it into the computer. "Would that be all sir?"
"Yep."
I paid for my hot chocolate then walked back out. Now this is refreshing. And warm, lets not forget the warmth this is bringing my body. I walked into the park and smiled at the scene. There were kids literally everywhere; bouncing in the snow, making snowmen, or sleding. As I got closer to the park and onto the path, the squeals and shrieks of excitment and thrill overcame me. It was.. Incredible. Little kids... They're so carefree, so passionate, so loving. The biggest thing they have to worry about is what color to choose for there crayons and the biggest pain they have is a scraped knee. I would give anything in the world to be a kid again. I looked around for Stan and pursed my lips. Where is that boy? I huffed and kept walking, sipping my hot chocolate every now and then until it was all gone. I pouted at the sight of my empty cup then threw it away. "Didnt want you anyways!" I murmered playfully. I walked over to the railing that sheilds people from falling into the river. I rested my arms on it and leaned over a bit, closing my eyes and feeling the cold air gently hit my face. I quickly snapped out of my thoughts when I felt a sharp, cold pain in my lower back area.
"Ow! What the 'ell?" I go to turn around and get slammed straight in the face with the same pain and same feeling.
"Okay! Ow! That Reall--" Again. I really want this to stop.
"Okay, who ever is throwing the da--" and again, this time hitting my nose. This means war. I grabbed a bunch of snow and patted it into a ball and threw it into the general direction of where the other snowballs were coming from.
"OW!" I heard someone yelp. I smiled smugly and grabbed some more snow, made a snowball and threw it again.
"OWWW!" The person yelped again. I started to laugh as the snowballs came flying back at me, hitting every part of my body with a force hard enough to make me think I was getting shot. I ducked down behind a chair, and tried to hide the best that I could. I laid on my stomach, wincing at the cold touching my side, and looked around. The snowballs had stopped being thrown. I kept laying on the ground, and smirked to myself in victory. Louis Tomlinson always wins. Always. Just as I was getting up, someone had come up behind me and dumped a pile of snow onto my head.
