As we walked down the paths to get to the cabins, I stopped every now and then to take in the scenery. It was sooo beautiful. The trees we're covered in snow, the ground was snowy and it was just a winter wonderland. So beautiful, it's hard to explain. I looked up ahead where Liam was and laughed. He was walking with Niall and Zayn and having a good time. They were throwing snowballs at each other, running and ducking behind trees and yelling random things, such as hambers and jelly babies and baby penguins. I laughed and smiled. Liam needs some more guy friends so I'm happy he's made two more. I looked around once more before walking into the huge cabin hotel thing. It was big and resembled a hotel, but looked more a like a cabin. I stopped behind the crowd and looked at see why everyone stopped. The teachers we're at the desks and getting our keys. Soon after, they turned around to face us all.
"Good afternoon, Children!" Mr. Swenson said. "We've finally made it! Yay! Woo! WHo's excited to be here?" He chuckled as everyone cheered and laughed. He was always fun teacher. Always the one who you can go and talk to
"We have your room keys and are going to devide you guys up into three. Girls with girls and boys with boys." He continued on before Miss. Arnold jumped in with her annoyingly high pitched voice. I swear she sounded just like Minney Mouse.
"Let's get started shall we?" She picked up a key and her clipboard and nodded. "Room 456; Chloe Jenkins, Danielle Peazer, and Mary Sutton. Room 457; Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne. Room 458; Stanley Lucas, Zayn Malik and Harry Styles. Room 459; Eleanor Calder, Samatha Payne, and Yasmin Mercado. Room 460...." After that, I just zoned out and only heard blah.. Blah.. Blah... I heard Samantha squeal in excitement as she ran over to me with her noraml, huge smile plastered on her face.
"Yay! We're room buddies!" She giggled. I smiled hugely and nodded.
"I know!" I squeal back. "But we're stuck with Yasmin." I rolled my eyes a bit then pursed my lips. I didnt have a thing with Yasmin. I didnt quite care for her to be honest. But I dont like her. She knows how to tear a person down within seconds. I sighed quietly, grabbed my bags and walked into my room with Samantha following close behind me. We walked into a large room with three beds, two on one side, one on the other. Yasmin had already put her stuff on the one bed side, so Samantha put our stuff on the other two beds. The beds we're a bit harder than my bed, more uncomfortable. I sat down on it slowly and it feltl ike I was literally sitting on a wodden board. I laid down on it and the pillows weren't any better. They were thin with no padding at all. I was literally planking on a bed without trying to. I sighed quietly and sat back up then headed over to the window. The view was amazing! You can see the slopes perfectly, the shoppes, the lights.. Everything. I kept looking out the window wondering how everyone else was holding up in their rooms. Liam and Louis didnt get along too well, so I was worried about how Niall was handling them. I decided to go to their room, just to check up on them. I walked out of my room then found room 458 and knocked on the door. Niall opened it with an expression that told me everything. He moved slightly to the side and I saw Liam and Louis on the floor fighting.
"I HAD THE BED FIRST." Louis shouted.
"ITS JUST A DAMN BED." Liam shouted back as he rolled them over to be on top of him. I almost stiffled a giggle as I watched. Neither one of them were good fighters, but they could do some damage easily. I kept watching as Liam was trying choke the crap out of Louis then looked at Niall.
"How long have them been rowing?" I asked, giggling.
"About 10-15 minutes." He responded. "It's just over a bed, I dont get how this row even started." He continued on. "I went into the bathroom to put some stuff up, then came out and they were fighting."
I nodded. Typical of them to get into a fight over a bed when there's two more exactly like the one they both wanted. I looked back at the boys and decided I should help break them up. Niall and I both walked over to them. I grabbed Liam and started pulling while Niall had Louis.
"You're a damn ass, Louis!" Liam shouted as soon as I got him pulled away. His body was tensing and eyes kept flashing between he and I.
"Oh yeah?" Louis asked while trying to fight out of Niall's arms. "At least my mom isnt a damn protestute who likes to abuse her kids!" The whole room fell silent. Except for Liam and Louis's heavy breathing, no one dared to speak or to make a sound. Liam shrugged out of my grip, grabbed his jumper and walked out. Niall let go of Louis and stared at him in shock. My throat started to go dry as I watched Louis's movements. He winced a bit knowing he just hit a sore spot on Liam. I pursed my lips a bit then huffed.
"What?" Louis asked.
"What?" I asked. "Are you really asking me what right now?" I narrowed my eyes at him and clenched my jaw. I saw him wince and heard a few swear words escape his mouth.
"You know Louis? I didnt ask for you to hate me. I'm terribly sorry for what happened between us but that's no reason to hate someone who used to be your bestfriend. Or to even change for that matter. But, you did. You hate my guts just as much as Liam's or anyone elses for that matter. Why though? What's the point going around and hating people? It's not you. You and I both know that. You can destroy yourself, your friends and your family but im not sticking around to watch."
I watched him purse his lips and look away. I rolled my eyes and walked out, and ran out of the building to look for Liam. Ugh, honestly, where could this boy have gone?! I mean, really. He could'nt have gotten that far. As I walked further and further away from the cabin hotel, I got more and more concerned and worried. Liam normally isnt the type to just run off like this. And, if he does, he normally calls and tells me where he is. I looked around once more then did a complete 360. The frigid air is now starting to make my nose cold, my hands cold and I'm pretty sure my feet have frostbite on them even though the inside of my Uggs are completely warm. The wind wasnt helping much either. It's actually only making the matter worse. The snow beneath me kept crunching the faster I walked, the louder it crunched, the birds kept cherping away like little song birds and I heard twigs cracking in the distance. I really wish it would all just stop. I really wish Liam would just let me know where he is; whether thats by screaming, yelling or calling my cell. I pursed my lips together and jumped a bit when I heard a twig behind me crack. I swallowed and looked behind me only to find that no one was there.
"Who's there?" I called out into the wilderness. No one responsed or answered. I swallowed again, turned around and kept walking, Its probably nothing. Just the cold getting to you. I thought. I kept walking when I heard the sound again. I paused in my steps and turned back around.
"Who's there?" I called out again. "Liam? If it's you this isnt a funny joke!" Still no answer. I frowned adn creased my eyebrows together, hugging my arms even tighter. I must've been really deep into the woods because I dont see the cabin anymore. I dont see the lights, or hear the people chattering. All I hear are the now silent sounds of the woods. I sighed and turned back around on my heel and took another step before I saw a shadow a few yards ahead of me.
"Liam?" I whispered quietly, slowly stepping towards the shadow. The figure looked like Liam. Tall, slender, curly haired I think. The shadow turned around a bit to look at me then took off running. My teeth started chattering and just about every bone in my body ached. But I didnt let it stop me.
"Wait!" I called after the shadow. "Hey! Wait! Please! Stop!" I kept calling it out to it. But it never stopped, never turned around, never even glanced back at me. I kept chasing the figure though. Begging and pleading for it to stop. I stopped running for a split second but as soon as I did I felt something hard hit the back of my head causing me to fall straight to the ground, tumbling over a log, and sinking down into the cold, harsh snow. I quickly started to lose my vision, feeling a numbing sensation taking over the spot where I had gotten hit. As I tried to get up, I stumbled and placed my hand on the back of my hand. I felt something hot and sticky and winced. I took my hand slowly off my head and brought it back around so I can look at it. I didnt see my hand anymore. Instead, I saw my hand.... Covered in blood. My blood. I gasped a bit and swallowed hardly and looked around again. I started to walk again but I couldnt stay in a straight line. I finally just laid down on the ground in defeat. The shadow was back, and it was coming towards me. I swallowed again and closed my eyes just as the shoes came into my sight.
"Liam.." I managed to choke out before everything went black.
