Elaina's back story

Hi, my name is Elaina and me and my parents just moved into a new house. My first impressions on the house is, I don't know, it kind of gives me a bad vibe. I mean it's big, old, and has an old swing set in the back yard. I go inside and walk up the creaky stairs to my new room to unpack. The walls were covered in a light purple, paisley patterned wallpaper, making me guess a little girl used to live here. Since I'm 16 I'll probably going to cover the wallpaper with a more mature color, maybe a navy blue or something. Anyway I went to sit on my bed to start going through my boxes one by one. I finally finished unpacking everything except my clothes so I grabbed my clothing boxes and went to open my closet and bureau drawers when I saw something in the closet. What is that, I picked it up to get a closer look to find it was an old, VERY old rag doll. That confirmed my thoughts that this used to be a little girls room. I knew that the doll must have been from early 1900s or late 1800s so it must have been from a couple owners before me. I stared at that doll, wondering it's past, it must have been loved since it was dirty and ripped in a few places. What confuses me most was how previous owners haven't seen it and thrown it away or gave it away? But I thought it was kind of cute and really cool so a carefully sat it on my bureau and continued putting away my clothes. Once I was done customizing my new room I went down stairs to explore the rest of the house. Nothing really caught my attention so I quickly passed through each room until I came to a small door in the back corner of the downstairs spare bedroom. I slowly walked over to the small door and went to open it. Damn it! It was locked, "Elaina! Dinner!"
It was my mom calling, I slowly rise up and head to the kitchen and dining room area. After dinner I head up stairs to get ready for bed. I put my pajamas on and look in the mirror to start brushing my hair. To my disbelief I saw a little girl with curly brown hair, pale skin, freckles, blue eyes, little black shoes with frilly socks and a pretty white dress standing behind me in the reflection of the mirror. I become completely paralyzed as I drop my brush in terror refusing to blink. When I finally blink and open my eyes again she's gone. I've never been one to believe in ghosts but I saw her so clearly and she was gone in a blink of an eye, LITERALLY! As quickly as I can I finish getting ready and head straight to bed trying to shake my head of what just happened. I lie in bed awake for awhile until I finally drift off to sleep. Five months later my parents decide to go on vacation without me, so I'm left home alone in this old, creepy house for a month! It's been months since I've last seen the little girl, but it still gives me the creeps.
