          In a dark room,live a vampire named Mephiles.He is Shadow's older brother and always protect Shadow from the human that haunted both of them.Mephiles read a book on his room until Shadow came in"Brother,can i go outside with my slave?"Shadow ask.Mephiles walk toward Shadow"You can't go out.You're a vampire and not a hedgehog.We are dangerous to them and you will die if you go outside.The sun would stings you."Shadow look down as he look very sad."Okey,brother."as he walk away and leave the room.

         The night has come,Mephiles give an order to his younger brother to find some blood.Mephiles know that Shadow is strong enough to go out at night and fight with the other creature that roam the forest."I better take a look at my plan."he said to himself and look at the mark on the wall that he has make.Suddenly,a clearly footsteps can be heard and Mephiles quickly walk to his door and check outside."You..."as he look at Sonic crawl on the floor."How can you know?!"Sonic shocked."I have a vampire power that any sound i can hear."Mephiles said.

         Sonic walk away but as he walk away Mephiles capture him."I need something from you"Mephiles ask.Sonic become paralyzed and cannot move or run from him."W-What did you want...from me?"Sonic ask tremble in fear.Mephiles whisper at Sonic's ear gently"You should not be here.This is too dangerous for you.I will watch over you if Shadow attend to keep you."Mephiles let go Sonic and walk away to his room.Sonic rushed through the hallway and rushed into Shadow's room.

         Shadow came back from the forest and bought a dead body to Mephiles room."This is another dead body for you."as Shadow throw the dead body."Did you found any blood?"Mephiles ask."I already found it."Shadow reply and he walk away.
