It's been three months since I left LA and the human existence. That's what everyone believes anyways. Only a few people know where I am. That day at the pm house I wasn't quite sure what I was doing, but I knew it had to happen. Edwin tried to talk me out of it, but he couldn't. Zion and Austin tried as well, but it was as if I were deaf. Edwin, Austin, Zion and my parents are the only ones who know where I am. My mother called me a week later telling me that he was worried about me and wanted me to come back. But if that was the case, He shouldn't have said he wanted to take time apart. That's exactly what i'm doing, babe. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. If you're wondering where I went off to, it's Miami. I'm living in the same apartment complex as Maci.
If you're wondering about the baby, everything's going perfectly fine. I usually send pictures of my tummy to my mother, but only because she requests them. I'm sure she shows my dad and Nick, and I wouldn't be surprised if she even shows him. If you're wondering why I won't say his name, it's because I made a promise to myself that I would never speak his name ever again and everyone who still speaks to me knows that .
My life is fine without him in it. The apartment is literally by the beach and it's just what I need, big enough for me and the baby.
Today marks my fourth month and I also get to find out the gender of the baby. My mom always tells me that my tummy's really big, but she think it's because this is my first child. Let's hope it's because of that.
I stood in the middle of the living room, watching The Vampire Diaries as I waited. I sat down on the couch and let my head rest on the back of the couch. Just as I was about to get comfortable, the front door opened and in popped an energetic Maci.
"You ready?!" she exclaimed with s wide smile on her face. She walked over to me and held her hand out to help me up. "Why don't you seem excited? This is really cool!" she said as she helped me into her black range rover.
"I am excited, it's just hard to show when, whatever gender baby this is, is breaking one of my ribs every five minutes." I said, cranking a small smile as she winced at the description. I buckled my seat belt and we left for the doctors office.

"Why are you so big?" Maci asked as she watched me get out the car, "I'm sorry, that sounded rude." she said, sending me s small smile.
"I don't really know why I am. My mom said it's because I have a small figure so it just makes my tummy look really big." I said, shrugging my shoulders as we walked into the waiting room. I walked up the the desk and told the nurse my name. She told me that Dr. Nelson, My doctor, would be right with me. I thanked her and sat back down with Maci. "You wanna go back there with me?" I asked, folding my hands together and placing them on top of my tummy.
She turned to me with a shocked expression, "Really?" she questioned, and once I nodded she happily smiled. "Yes, I would love to go back there with you." she said, trying to calm herself. We continued to talk for about ten minutes or so before a nurse called me back to the back. "I'm not even the one pregnant and i'm excited." Maci said, rubbing her hands together.
I chuckled and followed behind the nurse dressed in all pink. She turned her head slightly and smiled at both of us before stopping and directing us into a room, "Dr. Nelson will be with you in a moment to tell you some things and then we're gonna head over to the ultrasound room," she said smiling before she left.
"She smiles, a lot." Maci whispered to me as she sat in the chair beside me. I looked down at my feet and groaned. "What?"
"Look how freaking big my feet are and i'm not even halfway through this shit." I muttered, crossing my arms over my chest.
"Watch your mouth, there's a child in here. We may not be able to see him, but he's still here" Maci hissed.
"How do you know it's a boy?" I questioned, lifting my eyebrows playfully at her as I smirked.
"I just know," she said with s smile on her face as she shrugged.
"How about we make a bet? If it's a boy i'll give you twenty dollars, if it's a girl you give me twenty dollars." she pulled out her purse and took out her wallet. She stuck her hand out and we shook saying 'deal' in unison. "Better be ready to give me twenty dollars." I said as Dr. Nelson walked in.
He talked to me for about fifteen minutes about what to expect at this time of my pregnancy and said that if I had any questions that I should call his office. Before he left he wish me luck and the same nurse walked in. As we walked to the ultrasound room, I was truly nervous. What if something was wrong? I climbed my giant self on the little bed and laid down. "Lift your shirt up so we can put the gel on your belly." I did as the nurse said and lifted my shirt. "This is going to be really cold." she said as she applied the gel.
Chill bumps ran throughout my entire body as she continued to rub it in. "Here we go." she said, placing the stick thing on my tummy. I looked up at the screen and watched as Maci did the same thing. "There's two heartbeats." she said, making my eyes widen.
"What does that mean?" I asked frantically looking at her then back to the screen.
"You're having twins, Ms. Mara. It's a boy and a girl actually." She said, making me lightheaded. The room seemed to be moving around me.
Through all the dizziness and nauseous state, I still heard Maci whisper in my ear, "Looks like neither one of us is getting twenty dollars."
