Synopsis of the tales

The tales /vignettes are in chronological order, as the tracks of the serial played out, except for the Guardian Angel Trilogy, which for the sake of continuity are bunched together, so that though the first one was written just after the SwaSan wedding (and Kavya's entry) and the other two are at the time of SwaSan separation after the ML track, here  there would be posted contiguously.

The same will be updated periodically - for I would like to recheck them for typos and other minor corrections. Once updated it shall be mentioned against the title.

1. Trust - A Swara Vignette (posted)

It is not story per se, but I have a certain fondness for it, it is one of the first posts I have ever written. So it finds a spot in my collection of tales.

2.  Swara's Ordeal - Epistle in Prose (posted as a separate book)

A series of letters from Swara to Sanskaar - seven of them, in total - and closely follow the serial canon, covering the time period from the moment Swara realises how wrong she was to suspect Sanskaar till a few moments before the wedding. All the letters are my attempt to write down what Swara would be feeling and cover a gamut of emotions; angst, hope, love, and a bit of humour in one....

I posted this as a separate book -( https://www.wattpad.com/story/139109692-swara%27s-ordeal-epistles-in-prose)

3. The Guardian Angel Trilogy - three fairly independent SwaSan OS (in process)

This is a sort of a fantasy take, both literally and figuratively, on the SwaSan tracks, which irritated me the most - one the Kavya track (though I used it to focus only on what Sanskaar had gone through before he reached the state of being married to Swara), the stupid idea  (my opinion) of the sisters opening a marriage bureau,  and third being the idiotic confrontation of Swara and Sanskaar on the road after the equally baseless separation (Again my opinion).

4. The Super Fast ML Track

My attempt at a humourous take on the much anticipated and highly disappointing ML track - very short piece.

5. The Euphony of the Elements - A SwaSan / RagLak Ballad (posted as a separate book)

A ballad to celebrate the wedding of Swara and Sanskaar - it should be included here, but I had posted it as a separate story (https://www.wattpad.com/story/139847527-the-euphony-of-the-elements) I am hoping that someday, I will be able to merge that into this book, so that all SwaSan stories would be in one place.

6. The Match Fixers - a SwarRagini OS

My attempt to find logic, reason and rationale behind the motive of the sisters opening a Marriage Bureau, it is after they both have separated from their respective husbands and rather than  make any attempt to reconcile with the men whom they love, they go around singing "chalka chalka re" (could I have that angry red emoji here?)

7.  Metanoia - A Swara OS

Warning - A sob story.

This story gave me the greatest grief but was a balm to my sadistic heart;  I so hated Swara for the separation track, not that Sanskaar was not at fault, but his was a crime while her act was a sin. This is about how Swara attempts to change her outlook but does not succeed.

But please note, in the event you expect a happy ending, do not read the the OS - it has an ending, but definitely not a happy one. And coming from me, one who hates love stories with unhappy endings, it is saying a lot.

8. LITOST - A SwaSan / RagLag Vignette (posted as a separate book)

This is a vignette and a songfic, which tried to explore what each of them must have been feeling, set during the separation track. This too has been posted as a separate book (https://www.wattpad.com/story/139417584-litost) and will be merged here, if and when that option is available in WattPad.

9. Wedding Vows and Marriage Vows - A SwaSan OS

A very short story, dealing with how Swara knows about weddings but does seem to realise what is needed to make a marriage work.

10. No hope for Redemption - A Swara Vignette

Again on the separation track and why I think that Swara has no hope of redemption (despite what the serial showed at the end)

11. Nostalgia

A pictorial journey of the most memorable moments of SwaSan till the date the serial ended - rather till the date I dared to watch (post that Memory Loss, "natak" drama I gave up on the serial)  what makes my heart go mmm... mmm...
