Chapter 3:Confused

Gwen's POV

I quickly ran up stairs into my room and locked the door"OMG what did he just say ugh."I heard a knock that only Bri would do but I still yelled"WHO IS IT!"the door unlocked and locked back then I knew it wasn't Bri"Joseph go away I don't wanna talk.He was the only other person who knew how to open doors with just about anything.I sat in my beanbag and he sat across from me on the floor"Gwen I know you were just nervous but that was rude.Why'd you run I mean your only moving in as friends so what's the problem try thinking about it as just friends if he makes a move call me or Bri to beat him up."I smiled a little then at seeing how protective he was of his older sister"What if I can't think if him as a friend?"I winned he raised a brow and grinned"Why do like him as more than a friend?"I quickly hid my face in a pillow and yelled

"I'M SLEEP!!"he chuckled and oohed"You like Mitch!"he teased I unbarried my face and slapped him on the arm"Shut up what if he hears us don't tell a soul."he crossed his heart and we made our way back downstairs.

Conner's POV

It had been an hour and Mitch wasn't back he promised he'd come back so we could go ice skating"I'll go get him."I said making my way to the door Jerome came along with me.I knocked on the door and a girl opened it"What do you want?"

she said sniffling Jerome went and hugged her but I was lost.I closed the door behind me and watched as Jerome sat there talking to her I couldn't hear a word they said they were talking too low a boy maybe older than me came running down but when he saw us he stopped

"Conner can I see you?"he asked motioning me I followed him hoping to find Mitch."He's in here."he opened a door and Mitch was balled up in a corner crying.I ran to him and he jumped up"What happened are you hurt ?"I asked worriedly he sniffled"Just my heart."then started crying more the boy pulled me away from him and whispered"I'm Joseph a friend of his and all I know is either Gwen did something,a memory came back to him that he was hiding from hisself or both cause that's all I can get out if him."Joseph threw his hands in the air and walked back downstairs.
