Chapter 4:Truce

Gwen's POV

Jerome sat me down on the sofa and whispered to me"What's wrong?"I sniffled and turned away refusing to answer him.I covered my face with my hands and ignore him and everyone else I wanted to be alone."Gwen."I heard someone say I recognized the voice but I couldn't tell who it was I looked up and saw Conner standing there.I quickly frowned and mumbled"What do you want?"he grinned and patted my head"Look I'm here to help you now what's going on?"I shook my head and got up and ran to my room.I locked the door and ran into my closet and moved around my cloths till I found what I was looking for"Gwen what are you doing?"Joe asked opening the door"Damn it."I whispered to myself I slowly turned to him and closed my closet door."Your not using the emergency money to run away again are you?"I smiled and shook my head I opened my closet and showed him that it was still there"In that case I know what happened with you and Mitch and I want to help so let's talk."I shook my head and he came to hug me I pushed him into the ground and ran out.I ran out into the cold I couldn't go anywhere so I went were I knew I wouldn't be found.

Mitch's POV

Joe came back in nervous"Um Mitch she ran away I don't know what to do I'm scared she's my big sister please Mitch help me find her!"he pleaded I stood up and walked out to find her.Only for Joseph,he needed his sister after all the things he's been through I walked to the backyard and climbed up the treehouse

"Gwen?"I questioned she turned her head to face me and gasped

"M-Mitch g-go away."I sat next to her and put my arm around her she looked shocked but didn't do anything about it"W-why are you b-being n-nice to m-me?"she asked shaking I shushed her and hugged her tightly.Surprisingly instead if pushing me away she nuzzled up to me"M-Mitch thanks for coming back and I-I'm sorry I really m-mean it this was all my f-fault."I didn't respond and just drifted off into dreamland.I woke up and Gwen was still sound asleep in my arms I guessed were friends again.I whispered

"Gwen."in her ear and she flinched but didn't wake up so I yelled"GWEN!!!"her eyes quickly opened then she winned"You jerk I was peacefully sleeping and now I'm back in reality."she looked around for a bit then she realized were we were"Um this is awkward I mean can I go find my brother and sister I've got explaining to do."I removed my arms from around her and we both walked inside talking

"GWEN YOUR ALIVE!"Joe yelled running to hug her he looked at me and mouthed thank you I winked and found Conner crashed out on the sofa"CONNER GET UP!"I yelled in his ear he flipped off the sofa onto the floor and rubbed his head when he saw me a smiled appeared on his face and he hugged me tightly.Even though me and Gwen's argument had still not been settled I'm glad we forgave each other.
