Chapter 6:Jelousy

Mitch's POV

We had been at Adam's house for an hour now and Lyle was annoying me.He was impressing all my friends including Gwen he kept talking about him and Gwen as kids and every story he told had something to do with me not being there for her finally I gave in"Ok I'm going to clear my head."I said standing up and grabbed my coat off of a chair Gwen grabbed my arm and whispered"You ok I can come with?"I first looked at her then I just shook my head and left.The last thing I saw was the smirk on Lyle's face.I walked around kicking snow or just watching it fall"Why do I even care about how Gwen feels about Lyle were just friends and I should be supportive I think."even I was confusing myself.I sat on a bench in a nearby park and thought for a while till a girl came up to me

"Um your Mitch right I'm a huge fan I know you probably think I'm crazy but can we hang out?"

she asked excited and full of energy.I smiled and nodded she grabbed my hand and dragged me around town after an hour of getting to know her I decided to make a move.I took her hand and she blushed like crazy I leaned forward and kissed her lightly when I pulled away a huge grin was on her face same as me.

Gwen's POV

Lyle was telling us one of his stories he laughed an looked at me"Gwen I'm sorry I was a jerk to you for a while I don't know why,I just did it for your safety it's hard to explain"-"Lyle it's fine."I interrupted him he hugged me just as Mitch walked through the door with a girl around his arm.They were laughing and giggling"Hey everyone this is my friend Eva were sort of taking things slow so were technically not dating."he glanced at me and I was in raged.

The whole time he had his arm around her it made me sick

"Truth or Dare anyone?"Adam suggested we all agreed even though Joe agreed for me.First was Adam he picked truth"Fine then you little baby when was your last relationship?"Joe asked bored Adam thought then snapped"Two months ago."he pointed to Mitch and he picked dare with a grin.Adam thought then Mitch leaned over and whispered something to him"Oh kiss Eva."he said suddenly Mitch didn't hesitate he pulled Eva into a kiss I felt like I was gonna cry or throw up but I stayed strong.

When they both pulled away Bri tapped my shoulder and I opened my eyes I didn't want to watch I glanced at Mitch and he was staring at me his frown turned to a smile and he spoke

"Hey guys how about I tell y'all a secret?"they all nodded and got in closer loud enough for me to hear he said"That kiss had fireworks I think I found the one."he wrapped his arm around Eva and I ran to my room crying my eyes out.

Bri's POV

I was the only one who noticed Gwen ran off so I yelled"YOU JERK!!"to Mitch then followed her upstairs her door was wide open I quietly walked in and shut the door without her noticing.I sat beside her and she mumbled

"Go away."I pulled her hair and she got up immediately"You son of a never mind,Bri you know he did that to make me jealous right he's such a douche."she complained I saw a tear fall from her cheek and I hugged her and told her it was alright.She shook her head and took my hands"Bri it's not ok everything is my fault Jolie's in jail because of me,

Brooklyn died because of me,and were all in danger because of me and it's too late to run were all stuck in this situation together and I'm sorry Bri."she was just upset none of that stuff was her fault or at least I don't think it was but I don't think she would hurt anyone so I won't believe it.We sat around just talking and getting our minds off what had happened while Joe handled things with Mitch downstairs.

"Bri do you ever feel like it's your fault even though you know deep down inside it's not?"Gwen asked I looked up from my phone and sighed"Gwen you can't keep blaming yourself for that stuff Brooklyn was drunk and we lost her at the bar and Jolie stole that money on her own we didn't know she stole it."she nodded still looking a bit down I kept quiet and texted back Joe.
