Travis POV~~Tonight is the party, and my dad sent the woman to attend to Abby and get her ready for tonight, and also sent my fitter to fix up my suit and to make sure that the suit will fit properly.As he was fixing my jacket, I saw the ladies hurriedly rush her into the other room. My fitter and I could only chuckle as Abby was confused about why the rush. As the door closes, the fitter gets me out of my suit, and I get back into normal clothing. I sit at my desk and start doing some work, which my father allowed me to get involved in. I hear a knock at the door, and I slightly turn to see who knocked. It was my brother."Mark? What do you need? Shouldn't you be getting ready for the party?" I asked, confused at his sudden show-up."You can't be going... " Mark said with worry on his face."Why..?" I asked, not sure why he was saying this. "You knew I was going with Abby and possibly announcing the possible relationship," I said, kind of excited for that part yet nervous."You or Abby CAN'T GO," He said, popping the 'Can't go' part."Brother, you still haven't explained why, so Abby and I are going," I said, standing up, and all I saw was his scared look."For once, can you just listen and not go, please?"He asked, and I had to hold my temper in."No!" I growl and turn my back to him."Fine. Your and Abby's funeral. Legit." He said, slamming the door. What the hell? Legit? What the hell is that supposed to mean? I won't let anything happen to Abby. Why the hell would he say something that ridiculous?As the time flew by, my fitter came back and got me ready in my suit, and then started with my hair. "Sir, I say you look ravishing," He said with a broad smile."Thank you," I say, looking in the mirror. I then heard slight shushes and whispers, and the door to Abby's room opened, and all I could do was stare. She was stunning. The gold dress hugged every curve, and she knew it and was proud of it.She was beautiful and I couldn't wait to show her to everyone.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Abby's POVAll day. That's how long it has taken them to make me look this good. I hope Travis likes it. As they put my hair in a French twist with some gold flowers throughout the twist. It looks amazing. I have no words for my entire makeover, and I am overall in love with this. Are these the benefits of being the prince's pet? because I like it.The king probably spent so much on this, I must thank him for it when I see him. He has great taste, just like Travis. I never would have imagined being treated like an actual individual instead of being beaten like an actual pet.As the ladies did my make-up, I was also impressed with how gentle they were, and they constantly said nice things like how beautiful my hair was or that my eyes were pretty. As the time got closer, the ladies were exhausted. As they gave me a bright smile as they walked towards the door and my nerves skyrocketed, and I now felt sick.What if I mess up.....?What if he doesn't like it.....?What if...Abby, shut up. Knowing Travis, he will love it. My inner said told me, and all I did was stand there as they opened the door. As the door opened wider, all I could do was stand there. I stood there and gawked at him. He was in a white suit with a gold tie that matched my dress. He was handsome. Like out of this world handsome. I came out of my trance of gawking when he didn't say anything and stared."Is it that bad?" I said with my head down. Maybe I was right. He doesn't like it. Before I was able to raise my head back up, he sped over to me and placed his lips on mine."You are gorgeously absolutely beautiful, my angel," he said with a giant smile on his face, and all I could do was smile back."You're quite handsome yourself," I say, and he smiles and offers a hand."They are waiting; we are about to be called upon," he said with a smile. I took hold of his hand, and he kissed the back of my hand, and all I could do was smile and follow his lead."Now, now friends, now is the time for the entry of your future King and Queen!!!" the king said with hope in his voice, and my eyes widened, so did Travis'.The door opened, and all I could see was light. After a few seconds, my eyes got used to the light, and there were a lot of gasps from the people around us."Ah, look at them!!!!" the king yells, and Travis pulls me close and puts his hand on my lower back, and leads me to the stage. I noticed people in the shadows. Someone I recognized stepped out, and he didn't look happy. Nor did the other guys; he was the center. Travis must have also noticed how weird his brother was acting in front of all the people here. After the king gave a speech, he let the party continue, and Travis pulled me onto the dance floor. I laughed and held onto him as a slow song came on, and we swayed in sync, and we smiled at each other."Why is Mark with them, scary people?" I asked, noticing the glares I was getting from not only females but also the people in the shadows."I'm not sure, love, just don't leave my side and you'll be okay," he said, and I nodded with a smile. Everyone stopped dancing when a blood-curdling scream rang throughout the ballroom, and I held onto Travis."Well, brother, I did warn you," Mark said with three men standing beside him, and he put himself in front of me."What the hell?!" Travis yelled. His yelling scared me, and I clung to his back."I told you not to show up with the human. I will be king whether you like it or not!" Mark yelled and grabbed Travis, and I yelped when a vampire grabbed my hair and put his hand over my mouth and took off. I black out, but before I go into the darkness, I hear Travis yell my name, and then I'm gone.{{Okay, more updates will be regular. Sorry for the late updates}}
