There was once a girl born from flames and raised with rage. She was the sun, bright, powerful and fiery, yet her heart was made of stone, encased in an iron clad chest with no key to unlock it. She had her reasons to keep her heart locked away since she had been hurt so many times by the ones who were supposed to love her endlessly. Even after they had gone, their malice whispers found her even behind closed doors. Worthless, they hissed, their words dripping from their venomous lips and poisoning her dark heart. Her name, Jillian Samson, didn't seem to matter anymore because who she had become was not a person at all, but a mirage of the insults carved into her soul. And she believed their lies as if she was worthy of such punishment.
But then, out of the blue, she met someone. This someone—this girl—was made of the stardust which littered the galaxy's edge, and she repaired the sun's broken heart. She was the moon, lovely, mysterious, and cool. Her name, Beverly Marsh, was carved in the stars which were made from her fallen tears. Even so, her heart was pure yet plagued with sorrow, and, although beautiful, her white as snow skin was blemished with bruises caused by her own demons.
Despite their tragedies, they didn't suffer alone because the moon held a key to the sun's heart and the sun had one of her own for her moon's. Together, they found solace in each other and lived high in the sky where no one could hurt them.
They lived like that for years, until the sea in the form of the boy, Bill Denbrough, came along and divided the two. And he never backed down. He came in strong and resilient waves, returning just as things repaired themselves. And before the sun could even shine one last time for her moon, she felt her slipping through her fingertips into the sea's eternal grasp.
