I was not always a rouge. I had a family, a wonderful one. It was until then I lost that wonderful family to an attack. I managed to be the only survivor. I looked around the crumbled pieces, feeling rage and sorrow, throwing bricks, digging in piles until I can no longer feel my fingers. There was nothing. I had no one to go to. Not just my family but my whole pack was destroyed. I was a rouge. I felt alone, and I wouldn't know for how long.

I feel my senses start to wake up feeling the suns rays hugging my fur. I squint my eyes open trying to focus my vision. I hear a faint sound and snap my head up. My heart rate starts to pick up and my ears twitch trying to find the sound. I smell something awful as I shake my head in disgust.

I get up fast and quickly turn around and spot these golden eyes. A wolf comes out of the bush slowly approaching me as it snarls at me and partially opening its mouth showing hunger, shaking to attack. It tries to claw at me so I take off into full speed rushing through the forest. The wind passing through my fur, the sound of the trees swaying, the sunlight shining through the mist. It was until the smell again of roadkill hit my senses again. A whole pack of rouges. I come to a stop once I reach a lake.

I turn around and my eyes became sharp with my ears pulled back. I snap my head to both sides of me and saw myself getting surrounded. All shades of brown wolves circling me. Their fur all messed up and  bones popping out. They all growl at me closing in my circle. I get in a fighting stance ready to attack until I heard a howl. The other rouges howled back and ran into the woods, leaving me relieved and focus on where I ended up. It's been so long of me becoming a rouge I can't even remember the last time I was in my human form. I walked through the forest even more until I came upon this sign.

Welcome to Brookdale

I walked along the side of the road until I started noticing a neighborhood come into view. All of a sudden the air became cold and the sun was now masked by dark grey clouds with lighting spreading through it, thunder rushing throw the sky letting me know it was soon going to rain. Great. I walked onto the side of the forest remembering scenes from the attack and how I first became a rouge.

I remember there was a party at the pack house and I was inside my room with my cousin. We were drawing just random stuff and ended up getting bored so she said we should play hide-n-go-seek.

"Are you for real?" I laughed and questioned her.

"Uh. YEA why not?? It's a fun game I don't care how old we are I just want to play" she pouted.

I laughed again and agreed. I hid in this secret tiny room under the carpet and that's when I heard screams. I remember I wanted to come out and see what was happening so I lifted the panel up just a little bit and I saw a rouge. My eyes filled with fear as I saw my cousins lifeless body on the floor. I felt the sting of tears starting to build up. I saw the rouge ripping her flesh but the desk was in my view so I couldn't see her whole body.

I tried lifting the panel up more to escape but then it made a creak sound. I froze and felt my heart stop once the rouge snapped its head towards me. I quickly shut the panel and locked it. I covered my mouth with my hands as I closed my eyes tight not caring if the tears were streaming down my face. I heard the sound of the rouge start to growl and claw at the panel. Its claws got to break through some of the wood until I heard a crash with a whimper. I could feel my heart pumping so fast and the only sound was my nervous breathing. What had felt like hours the screams finally came to an end. I lifted up the panel slowly and saw a stream of sunlight peer into the room. I saw something fury but didn't know what it was. I lifted the panel more and saw it was the rouge. I screamed and ducked back into my hiding spot. I lift the panel up again and held onto my shirt. I get out and quickly moved to the back of the room grabbing a vase. I slowly walk towards the rouge and see its eyes open with a broken jaw. I crunch up my face and cover my mouth. I turn around and start walking towards my door until I hear a voice.
