My mum looks at me with wide and teary eyes, "w-what? Honey, no-"
"Cut the shit, mum." I spat. Her eyes getting wider, if possible. "You know it's true. You got back with William after 2 fucking years of torture, abuse, beatings. He tried to kill me. Possibly you after me. We never did shit for 2 years. Being slaves and being trapped in that hellhole. Do you want to know what he did to me? He destroyed me! Raped me!" I yell with the tears finally flowing out of my eyes.
"I-i" My mum exhales and a sob comes out. She tried to come closer to me again but I just step back.
"This was a mistake." I turn around and leave. Grayson and Ethan quiet and shocked following my lead.
All you can hear is the wind blowing in our ears. My eyes sting from the tears and are most likely bloodshot. The wind blows a little harder and makes me shiver.
"Perfect day for a wedding, eh?" I chuckle coldly and look at the sky. "'s gonna rain. We should hurry." After I say that I turn around and see the two nodding. I nod and start jogging back to my mums home.
The neighbourhood was quiet, as usual. The rain started pouring down softly but still enough for us to start getting soaked. Ethan and Grayson had waterproof jackets and their hoods up, but I kept mine off.
Soon we had it to my mums and we rush inside to pack our stuff.
I sigh, "I didn't mean for this to end up how it happened. If I knew, I wouldn't have brought you two." The two look up at me.
"It's fine, Lily. Really. If we never came your mom would be married to an abuser. Again. We wouldn't want that happening."
"Well," I sigh. "That was my fucking family."
They laugh and keep packing.
Okay, Okay. I'm going to write trigger warnings when there is any talk of rape, abuse, and stuff like that. Even if it's small like that.
Anyway, have y'all heard Harry's 2 unreleased songs? Medicine and Anna. They are fucking fantastic. Or how about Valentine by 5 Seconds of Summer? omll. They are making me so proud. Just them in general. Staying strong ever since 2011. I'm so glad that they are still enjoying their music and what they are making.
Does anyone pronounce wolf like woof? and water like wuter? just me? okay...
