(No, I can't stop thinking about it)

Your eyes widened as you looked up at Namjoon's eyes, closed in fear of seeing your rejection. You were frozen in your spot. What were you supposed to do?

After a moment, he pulled away because of your lack of response, his face completely red as he sat up and ran a hand through his hair. "I, um... Sorry, [Y/N]."

Your heart broke a little bit at how defeated he looked, forcing you to sit up to look at his face properly. You softly placed your hand on his shoulder and he flinched at the contact, staring at you incredulously.

"Mons- Namjoon... It's okay, I just- you- I..." You sighed and looked down at your lap. "I don't really think I'm ready for anything romantic like that... I..." You looked up into his dark eyes that were swimming with every emotion possible. "I was- I am in love with Jaebum... I don't think I'll be able to accept any affection like that until I find a way to move on... I'm so sorry, I didn't want to make you feel like kissing me was a bad idea, but I just can't right now," you finished with a whisper, tears prickling against your eyes.

Namjoon sighed and nodded, the hand in his hair falling to cup the back of his neck as his eyes looked up to the roof of the tent as if the words he should have been saying were etched into the fabric.

"I know, [Y/N]... God, I know..." He rubbed his hands over his face and sighed again, looking at you with sincerity in his eyes. "I know I shouldn't have, but you were sad and I was sad and I just had a lot of feelings and the first thought I had was to kiss you... Obviously, it wasn't a good idea, but, at the time, it seemed like one." He pursed his lips and pulled you in for a hug that you gratefully returned, squeezing your arms around him and sniffling back your tears.

"Please don't let my stupidity change anything," He murmured, which had you shooting up to glare at him.

"Excuse me."

Namjoon's eyebrows creased and he looked over your face for answers to your sudden anger.

"Um... Yes?" He said uncertainly, flinching when you slapped his shoulder lightly.

"I just said that I didn't want you thinking of that as a bad idea!"

"But you-"

"But nothing!" You huffed, crossing your arms. "Feelings happen and some weird choices can be made, but don't you dare apologize for trying to comfort both of us." Your eyes softened when he looked guiltily at you, a sigh slipping between your lips.

"It was a little weird, yeah, but it was kind of nice. You were trying to make both of us feel better, and that's a great thing. Don't you apologize for it just because the outcome wasn't ideal."

Namjoon stared at you for a while, looking like he was trying to figure out how to respond without you getting upset with him again. When he parted his lips to speak, however, a zipping noise caught both of your attentions.

When you both turned your head towards the source of the sound - the 'door' to the tent - you saw a head of blonde hair pop in, looking around as if to make sure he wasn't interrupting anything. Once Yoongi saw that he both were just sitting there, seemingly not preoccupied with anything too important, he slid into the tent, sighing softly and reoccupying his position at your side.

While he was getting comfortable again, you and Namjoon just watched him, feeling like there was nothing else to say now that the blonde was here. As if feeling your gazes on him, he froze and met both of your gazes, looking confused.

"What did I miss?"

Yoongi, of course, almost busted a fucking gut when you told him what happened.
