i didn't know what to do.

I heard laughing from where grant and corinne were, so I assumed grant said some thing funny.

they started walking towards the vending machines to get a soda.

so he just ditched me. great.

as I started walking- no, running home, I couldn't help but feel upset. I mean, we were having fun. then he just ditched me for corinne.

I was now at my door, opening it and running upstairs to my room, slamming the door and sitting on my bed.

I had my head in my knees, just thinking about why he could just leave me.

then I head a knock in the door

"come in" I said

I looked up and cam was in the door way.

"what happened? what did that doofus do?" he asked.

"well we were hanging out at the park, then corinne came and when grant saw her, he went and left me for her.we were having such a good time together too" I said.

"aahhh corinne turner. I've heard about her." he said

"well, it's alright cuz, he'll realize that ditching you was wrong and he'll come and apologize, don't worry." he said giving me a hug.

"thanks cam" I said

"no problem" he said, then left my room.

I sighed

"boys" I said under my breath.

I walked over to my dresser where I had pictures of me and my friends.

there was one of me and my best friend, hailey. since she's so much taller then me, she was carrying me on her shoulders.

the only other one I had was one of me and grant. he was giving me a piggy back ride while my chin was resting on the top of his head. we were both over exaggerating a smile, but not too much if you get what I'm sayin.

"olivia, he's here" cameron said, coming into my room.

"ok, thanks" I said and slid past cam to get to the front door. I got there and i saw grant

"hi" I mumbled

"where did you go?" he asked, stepping inside the house

"well, after corinne showed up, I was basiclly invisible to you" I snapped

"what are you talking about?" he said

"when she showed up and you went over and said hi to her, you left me standing in the middle of the park, by myself. then you went over to get a soda and started flirting with her! leaving me, once again, alone." I said, my voice rising every second I was talking

"THAT DOESNT MEAN YOU LEAVE! WAIT FOR ME!" he yelled

"SO WHEN YOU LEFT OUR HANG OUT TO GO AND FLIRT WITH HER I WAS SUPPOSED TO WAIT AN HOUR BY MYSELF UNTIL YOU WERE DONE!? YOUR RIDICULOUS!" I said

he leaned against the wall, and looked down at his feet.

"your right, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have left you in the middle of our 'play date' I'm sorry. can you please forgive me?" he said, looking into my eyes.

"of course I can" I said

he walked over and pulled my closer to him by wrapping his arms around my waist, pulling me into a hug, while I wrapped my arms around his neck, burying my face into his neck.

we let go and looked into each other's eyes.

"I'll see you tomorrow?" he said

I nodded

he gently pushed his lips against my cheek, and let them lay there for a second before pulling away

"bye" he said smiling

"bye" I said back, watching him walk about two houses down.

I sighed and leaned my back against the door.

"you like him" I heard a voice say. cam.

"what?" I asked

"you, olivia, like him, grant" cam said

"what? noo I don't like him I can't like him" I said

"I saw the way he looked at you. like you ment everything to him. and I saw the way you looked at him. like he was pizza or something. I know your denying it, but the heart wants what the heart wants." he said. then with that, he walked away.
