Chapter 32

I woke this morning very well. I serve myself some cereal and eat in peace. I then pick up my stuff and put it in the sink. I walk over to my room and turn on my computer. I message Cleo. She does not respond. I thought she wouldn't because of last night. I try about five more times until I just give up. I then get my stuff ready and I leave the house with my dad. We get to the building and I sit down in my chair. I wait for everyone to start. Today was an extra special day because I was being advanced in my rank. I advance in my rank and then I leave because that is all I needed to be there for. I then go to the embassy and when I walk in, the first person I see is Mildred she's with her sister and her friend. I try to avoid them. After about half an hour of looking at the stuff on the shelves, we go home. When I get home I turn on my computer to see if Cleo was online. I was disappointed when I saw that she wasn't online. After about half an hour we all leave to go to a restaurant. We were celebrating my brothers birthday. We ate and they gave us a cake and everything. When I got home I checked to see if Cleo was online, and she was. I finally had a chance to talk to her today. I missed her a lot. We talked for a really really really long time about different things. It was 1 o'clock the last time I checked. In the morning I woke up and immediately started looking for my phone. I found it next to my bed not the right side. I tried to turn it on but it didn't work. The battery has run out. I turn on my computer to plug in my phone. It starts charging so I just open up Facebook on my computer to see if Cleo had sent me something after I had fallen asleep. I was so embarrassed. I had fallen asleep while talking to Cleo 😣. I then walk out of my room and remembered that it was Father's Day. I went back inside my room and got the card that I had made for my dad. I then walked into the kitchen and found my mom with my brother making him breakfast and coffee.  I walk inside the kitchen and grab the coffee. We then all walk to my dads room and open the door. He wraps the covers over him and hides. My brother started singing Happy Fathers Day in the tune of the Happy Birthday song When my mom saw that I wasn't singing she elbowed me in the rib and mouthed: Sing now! I say ok annd start singing. We then give him the presents and bla bla bla and me all leave the room. I go to my room to watch a movie and my brother joins me. We finish watching the movie and I send him out of my room. He leaves and takes the bean bag with him. I didn't try to stop him because I knew that he would've run faster. I start working on my homework for Tuesday and I message Cleo. We talk for about an hour before the guests arrive. I then say goodbye and sign off. I talk to the guests for about 10 minutes and then I excuse my self to go finish some more homework. I actually do really finish some work but I also talk to Cleo. We talk about school and what we have for homework and then we start talking about us for about an hour. I ask her something that I then regret immidiately. Cleo answered me. She answered it in a way that I think she didn't really like the question. She says that that is not the whole reason. Just then my mom asked me to go to the park with my brother and the other guests kids. I mumble a yes. We leave the house and I say to Cleo. I am going to the park, by the time I come back I want an answer. I turn off my phone and go to the park. After about 30 minutes, we all go back inside and I message Cleo to see if she has an answer. She did. But she seemed so pissed. I dont answer her for about an hour. When I finally have the guts to talk to her I told her that I am sorry and that that was a stupid thing to say.She says dont worrybut I think she was just trying to make me feel better. I say no really I really do feel bad for what I said earlier. I thought I was about to cry because I had treated her so bad. But I didn't. I then went to go watch the soccer game that was going on in the living room. I then went to bed because it was 9 o clock.
