Jesse pov:

After we had dinner. We sat on the couch and just talked. Nika told me about her and so I found out that she had been a swimmer until she was eleven. A epilepsy attack forced her to give the sport up. I could hear out of her voice that she really misses it. She also told me something about her parents. How they always supported her. It sounded like they had been the perfect family. Even if her dad wasn't at home the most time of her childhood because he was a bus driver and often had to do tours around europe. But everytime he got home he hugged her tight, then they all sat down and Nika got to count her father's tips. That's how she learned how to calculate and while doing so her father was telling stories about his trip. At the end she always got to keep the the little copper cent coins. Her dad told her how beautiful the world is and promised her to take her with him when she was older. "But that never happened." Nika added at the end.
It made me sad how she spoke of her parents. At the beginning I kinda hated my mom and our dad for not telling me but now I saw that they did it for a reason. Maybe if I had gotten into her life earlier she wouldn't have had a childhood like this and now I could be there for her.

Nika pov:

After dinner we sat on the couch and just talked. At first I told him about me, then we talked about him. I found out that grew up in in a little town near New York. He had four other siblings but they were all splitted over the country. When he started working at the TV show "Chicago PD" he immediately fell in love with Chicago so he moved here. "... Speaking of that. I have to go to work tomorrow but then I have the weekend off. You want to come with me or do you want to get another day of rest?" he asked at the end of his explanation. I shortly thought about it. "Of course I come. But only if I'm allowed to." I said then. Jesse laughed. "The director is really easy with something like that. One more person at the set doesn't attract attention." We both stood up and I just wanted to go up to my room when something came on my mind. I turned around at the door frame. "I... I'm just curious... Are you single?" I smiled. He definitely blushed and slightly shook his head. "Nope. You're gonna meet her tomorrow. Good night." I smiled. "Good night."

I woke up by the smell of pancakes the next morning. I got up and quickly decided what to wear. (A dark pair of Jeans and a light blue top with my favorite Converse's by the way) I usually never applied make up but today I decided to take on a little bit of mascara and Rouge then I went down to the kitchen.
Jesse stood at there making pancakes and putting them on plates when he recognized me. "Hey there. Hope you slept well?" He greeted and I joined him at the counter. "Yeah better than expected." I looked at the pancakes. "I didn't know what you wanted for breakfast so I just guessed everyone likes pancakes." Jesse said with a shy grin. I smiled. "Of course I like pancakes but tomorrow I will make breakfast okay?" Jesse laughed. "Deal."
So we sat down and enjoyed the meal while Loki still slept on his bed. After breakfast Jesse quickly took a shower and then we got into the car. I was excited about meeting his colleagues and actually being at a film set. On the drive we just listened to the radio. They nearly played the same songs as in Austria so I knew most of them. I loved music. It was weird but I could remember more song lyrics than vocabularies at school. At the song Shape of you I quietly sang along. I looked out the window and was off into another world. Jesse must had recognized that I was mentally not here anymore because he turned the radio louder. I automatically sang louder and when the song was over I suddenly snapped back to reality. "Your voice is really good." Jesse said. I started at him like he was from mars. I sang and he heard it?! It was sooo embarrassing that I blushed. "Ahhh... Thank you?" I said slowly. "No I'm serious. You sing really good." He persisted. My face definitely got darker. I didn't answer but then they played What about us of P!nk on the radio and that was a song I couldn't resist. I just HAD TO sing. Jesse laughed and suddenly he also started singing. Together we blared the song out and it was like the guy on the radio wanted us to continue because he played one good mood song after the other. Jesse's voice was also not bad and perfectly fitted my high and clear one. I figured it was because of his theater education.
We sang and sang and sang. And what can I say we just had fun. After Uptown funk, Cake by the ocean and Believer traffic news were on so we had a break. "Hopefully I won't have to say many lines today." Jesse laughed. I grinned. I slightly looked at him. His eyes lighted and a smile laid on his lips. He looked like he was happy and so was I.
