Where is she?

"I think I already know that right about now. I'm so confused, what did Kurumi do wrong?" I felt myself breaking down at this point, I feel so weak.

Itsuka:
"Tokisaki Kurumi, otherwise known as Nightmare, is a spirit. A spirit is a being who possesses the power to create spacial quakes beyond her will. Our goal is to be able to refrain her and be able to fall in love with me in order for us to save her."

"..." this is absolutely stupid! What is Itsuka saying? Save her? This sounds like he just wants her all to herself. I knew Itsuka was some sort of playboy perve or whatever but seriously. He won't just manipulate me like that!

"How is Kurumi a spirit? And as far as I know nobody knows of why spacial quakes occur so you have absolutely no evidence to tell me that Kurumi is making these disasters!" My lungs felt like they had enough of shouting. If Kurumi was a spirit I think she would tell me. I'm sure she's suffering, I can't let these people manipulate me...

Itsuka:
"...I'm sorry Y/N but it's true. If you want to save Kurumi please join us, we'll help in any way possible. We have saved a lot of spirits including, Tohka, Yoshino, Kaguya, Yuzuru, Miku and even more. If you need proof I'll provide you as much as you need."

Shido was struggling, he could tell that Y/N was really confused and just couldn't accept it. Y/N couldn't help but think that Shido was telling an absolute stupid story just so that he could get together with his best friend. Because for all Y/N knows, Kurumi thinks Shido is a bit too tryhard and maybe he is trying to find a reason for him to be able to get together with Kurumi.

"Proof? I already have enough. I bet if I asked Kurumi she would tell me everything about you and your fake organisation you're lying. Please, if you want to become my best friend's boyfriend that bad you can try but you can't use me as an excuse." I replied, trying to remain calm. My voice was a bit scratchy from screaming too much, I could feel it. However I needed to confront him about this.

Itsuka:
'Seriously what do people think about me these days?!' Shido thought to himself and tried looking in Y/N's eyes.
"Look, I really like you as a guy but on this one you have to trust me! Nothing will get better at this rate. You're Kurumi's best friend right? If you help Kotori and I we promise that we'll save Kurumi okay? I know words aren't enough to persuade you but I promise I am not lying!" Shido spoke as he scratched his chin a bit. "It's honestly not that hard. Please...Y/N-kun.."

Itsuka's lucky I'm curious. But honestly! I don't even know what the hell a "spirit" is. "F-Fine..I will. But I can't just accept the fact that my best friend is a "spirit" and apparently the whole cause of those spacial quakes okay? It's too difficult.." I replied, feeling a bit uneasy afterward.

Itsuka:
*Sigh* "thanks Y/N! I'm so happy you'll help! It's hard being one of the only boys..."

"Heh..it's no problem..."

I hope this isn't a prank because if it was I'll be pissed off.

Itsuka:
"We'll meet tomorrow at the same place and time okay?" Itsuka reminded Y/N as he looked around. "I-I'll just go tell Kotori to send you back."

I nodded as I watched him run off into the room his sister walked into. I sigh, what have I gotten myself into?

The next day Y/N decided to go along with whatever plan they had. Seeing Shido Y/N had a faint smile on his face. He was happy he could help but he still wasn't quite sure if this was legit or a prank.

"Where's your sister?" I asked Itsuka, who appeared to be, talking to himself?

Itsuka:
"Kotori asked me to give this to you"

Y/N blankly stared as Itsuka passed him a red earpiece, very similar to his. Aside from the fact Y/N's one had blue stripes while Shido's had black.

"An earpiece?"

Shido nodded as Y/N placed the earpiece into his ear, hearing Kotori's voice project through his eardrums.

Kotori:
"Is Y/N on Shido?"

Itsuka:
"Yep, he's on."

Kotori:
"Great."

"W-What's up?" I mumbled to myself, I heard some kind of laugh from Kotori's side. Is she mocking me?

Kotori:
"If you really think that this is a joke I'll tell you now, this isn't a joke, this is actually your first task."

WHAT?!?! TASK??

"Wait! A TASK?!?! I didn't agree to fulfill tasks!" I yelled, some public began stopping to stare at me. I scratched the back of my head in embarassment.

Kotori:
"Duh. Anyways, your goal is to find out what Kurumi is up to. Shido will help you but you're the one scouting out what she is doing at the moment. Remember, Kurumi right now is your target. She is no longer your best friend, you HAVE to find out what she's doing."

Kotori explained, Shido got a bit confused.

Itsuka:
"Eh? B-But Kotori don't we?--"

Kotori:
"Ah, Shido stay quiet!"

What are they doing? "Um..okay, but where do I even start?" I questioned as I fiddled with my earpiece since I couldn't quite hear her that well.

Kotori:
"First thing is first. Kurumi and you go to a cafe am I correct?"

"Yes.." well that's creepy. How does she know everything?

Kotori:
"You should begin on where you two normally hang out, if she's not there she would likely be in the park or the forest."

I nodded and looked to Itsuka who was just nervously smiling at me. I can't read facial expressions but I can tell something is up with these two.

Kotori then cancelled her voice from Y/N's earpiece, relaying Shido a message.

Kotori:
"Shido, keep an eye on him okay?"

Itsuka:
"Ah, okay lil sis.." Shido silently said, you could barely hear him.

Kotori:
"Thanks, now go follow him already!"

Itsuka:
"Gah! Okay! Geez.."

"Um..Itsuka are you coming?" I thought to myself accidentally said that out loud, whoops..

Itsuka:
"Oh! Y-Yeah, right."

Shido stuttered as he caught up to Y/N who was already walking in the cafe direction, to find Kurumi. While a mysterious figure was standing on a rooftop, basically invisible. Since no one looked up there.

"It seems my plans have to be shifted..."
