"Date"

Why did I just do that?

That was the question I kept asking myself. I hope Kurumi doesn't get the wrong idea...I didn't mean it that way okay! All I want is for Kurumi and I to be friends, that's it. You sigh as you begin walking to the train station Kurumi talked about. You kept asking yourself the same question over and over again, you really didn't want Kurumi to think this was some sort of date.

As you arrived at the front of the train station you saw the girl waving to you, having her sweet smile plastered on her face as usual.

Kurumi:
Kurumi giggled a bit as she looked at you. "This seems a bit awkward Y/N-kun..."

"A-Ah! I get what you mean, Im so sorry for asking you out of nowhere...it wasn't good of me." You answered as you scratched your head, it wasn't like this was any different to our usual hang outs. It can't be.

Kurumi:
"You seem nervous Y/N-kun...do I have something on my face?" Kurumi joked a bit, you giggled.

"Haha! No, I'm sorry. I just didn't want you to take this the wrong way...that's all."

Kurumi:
"Oh? Is there something different about today's meeting than all the other days?"

Huh? How did she catch on so quickly? "H-Huh?! No, I just feel a bit weird that's all. I feel like I missed something while I was unconscious from yesterday..."

Kurumi gritted her teeth as she heard his sentence, but she ended up trying to cover it up with a small grin.

Kurumi:
"No worries Y/N-kun, everyone would feel like that after they randomly collapse." Kurumi had a genuine smile as she grabbed onto Y/N's hands. "Where did you want to take me?"

You stayed silent for a moment as you thought to yourself. "Treat's yours, where would you like to go?" You smiled at her, you kept your hand in her grasp for a moment as she let go of you.

Kurumi:
"That sounds almost too sweet Y/N. You did say you wanted to go shopping with me, but I assume you are hungry..." Kurumi placed her finger on her mouth for a moment to think, she clasped her hands together as she began speaking "how about we go to that restaurant over there?" Kurumi pointed to the restaurant that appeared to be average price.

You thought to yourself for a moment as you nodded. "I guess that'll be okay. Money will be on me so you can eat to your heart's content."

Kurumi:
"Yay!~~"

"Let's go" as you said those words you instinctively grab Kurumi's hand.

Kurumi:
"Y-Y/N..." she stuttered as you two entered the restaurant.

You two took a table nearby the window as you put your elbow onto the table and rested your head against your hand, looking outside.

Kurumi:
"Y/N-kun..."

"H-Huh? Yeah, that's me."

Kurumi:
"You seem out of it recently. Am I bothering you?"

You shake your head. "It's not you...it's someone else..." you replied, you felt guilty for lying to her.

Kurumi:
"Don't worry Y/N. If it isn't Kurumi you are bothered about...who's bothering you?"

"I-I'd rather not talk about it" you replied, feeling a bit hesitant to answer her question. She seemed awfully nosy for some reason. Instead of her usual reply of a small smile she grabbed your hands as she looked at you.

Kurumi:
"I know you are bothered by Kurumi, you don't even have to say it."

"Wh-What makes you say that? I'm not bothered by you, you're absolutely fine Kurumi." You lied again, feeling like an idiot a shortwhile afterwards.

Kurumi frowned as she stared at you. Before she could say anything a waitress came by.

Waitress:
"Hello! Welcome to our restaurant. What would you like to order today?"

Before you could answer Kurumi already started to talk, so you waited for your turn.

Kurumi:
"I'd like a slice of chocolate cake and a vanilla latte please.."

You looked at the menu, looking at what you'd like to order. "I guess I'll just have the same as her."

Waitress:
"Two chocolate cakes and vanilla latte's?"

Kurumi nodded as she grabbed your menu and hers, handing it to the waitress. Once the waitress left Kurumi's smile faded as she turned back to you.

Kurumi:
"Don't lie Y/N-kun, it's unhealthy for you."

"B-But I'm—-"

Interrupting what you were about to say she covered your mouth with one hand while pointing her up and swaying it side to side.

Kurumi:
"I will not take anymore of your lies. Do you really think that I would fall for that?"

You violently took her hand off of your mouth by instinct, immediately standing up in shock. "W-What's gotten into you Kurumi?!" You yelled as some people began staring at you. "I'm fine okay!"

You took a moment to realise what a scene you caused. Sh*t....you thought to yourself.

Kurumi:
"Y-N........kun..."
