[1] Date a Live: My Best Friend (Kurumi Tokisaki x Male Reader)

Asking her out? No way

Tohka began to scream Shido's name as Kurumi just stood there chaotically laughing at them.

Kurumi:
"You see Shido-san. Im a bit tired of running around in circles, if I cant have you, I'll have to target the next boy. Until you are completely ruined." Kurumi laughed to herself.

Shido:
"Stop it! Kurumi! You know yourself there's nothing to gain from this!"

Kurumi stopped, as she pointed her gun to Y/N. The spacial quake alarm suddenly stopped, it was if Kurumi was scared of something.

Kurumi:
"No, no. We cannot have this happen in such a short amount of time."

Kurumi jumped back as she stepped away from Y/N and Kotori. Shido sighed in relief as he was jumped on by Tohka who seemed to be nervous for Shido, having the other spirit beside him.

Kurumi:
"Tsk..it seems my time is running out, I'll have to play with you later.."

Kurumi mumbled to herself as she disappeared. As soon as she vanished into thin air Shido let out a huge sigh in relief as he immediately ran to Kotori and Y/N. Kotori slowly stood up as she coughed up some blood.

Shido:
"K-Kotori!"

Kotori stumbled as she stood up, still a bit injured from Kurumi stomping on top of her like a lump of garbage.

Kotori:
"D-Dont worry about me Shido...Y/N is who you should be looking after.."

Shido nodded as he rushed to Y/N, who appeared to still be unconscious.

Shido:
"I wont let Kurumi manipulate us!"

Slowly waking up you find yourself lying down, seeing Shido looking down on you. You couldn't remember anything so you stared at him with confusion. "Wh-Whats going on here?" You asked, feeling your neck, it felt a bit tight for some reason.

Shido:
"A-Ah..do you remember anything?"

You feel your head, it was as if you hit some sort of pole. Wh-What? I dont remember anything that happened, what's going on? You shook your head, still confused. "Did something happen?"

Shido:
"O-Oh! No! Nothing happened! You just collapsed all of a sudden."

"Oh...okay.." you replied. He sounds nervous, did I really just collapse?

The Next Day

Hearing a cheerful voice call for you you immediately turned in the direction of the voice. And as you suspected it was Kurumi.

Kurumi:
"Y/N! Are you okay?! I heard from Shido you collapsed...are you alright?"

I felt like I'm missing a big part of the puzzle. It's like something's wrong. I know Kurumi's a so called spirit, but I feel like something happened yesterday. Something I don't remember now. "Oh, I'm fine. I might've just been feeling a bit light headed back there" I nervously laughed, trying to calm myself. I mean, I'm pretty calm right now but I just have this uneasy feeling.

Kurumi:
"That's great! Just remember I'm here if you feel uneasy!"

"Thanks Kurumi. Hey, if you don't mind. Do you wanna go out to the mall at 2pm? I just don't like the fact how you're so worried about me, so maybe a bit of shopping and some coffee?" You asked her, feeling a tint of blush on your face.

Kurumi:
"Aww, you're so sweet Y/N-kun... but there's really no need for such..."

"N-No! I insist, I really feel guilty. I know you were somehow with me when I collapsed and I think I might've caused you a lot of trouble."

Kurumi:
"O-Oh, Kurumi doesn't really mind, but if you really insist Kurumi will go along." She smiled at me. "I'll be waiting by the train station."

"Great! See you there!"

What have I just done? Asking a girl out? No way can I do this!

A/N: I know I just made an authors note on one whole chapter but I just want to say thanks to you guys for reading this. I really appreciate it! It took me quite a while to get this chapter done due to my first school term ending so there were quite a few essays and tests I had to do. I also got a few writers blocks so it was really difficult. I'll try make it up to you guys by posting the next chapter asap! Especially since this chapter was very short, but I'll make the next chapter as long as I can. It might take about 1-2 weeks to get the next chapter up but I'll do my best to make it as amazing but as fast as possible.
