Michael's P.O.V ~
I saw her walking towards Brad's and my table. My heart started to beat fast as she got closer. She was standing at the table and just started at me. I cleared my voice and she shook her head.
"Wanted to see the last show before you close this place?" She asked.
"No, I wan-"
"You know you have some damn nerve to come here to say your closing his place! You looked so nice when I first saw you and to know that you're a -" she was cut off
"Sugar that's enough!" Dolly told her as she grabbed her arm. She started to pull her along as she walked away.
I stood up and said, "I'm not closing the lounge. I'm here to talk to Jerry about keeping it open."
They both stopped and turned around. They looked shocked and looked at each other.
"Your lying!" Sugar told me.
"I'm not. I'm a honest man as well a man of his word. If I say I'm not closing it then I'm not." I told her

Jerry came out from his office since he was watching from the window of his office, "You'll let the whole accident pass?"
I nodded, "I'll leave the lounge open but with one condition."
"I had a feeling there be a catch," Dolly said as she crossed her arms.
"The only condition I ask isn't bad. I only ask that the girl Diamond stays away from me."
"Done," Jerry said without even thinking twice.
I nodded and looked over at Sugar, "and to what you were about to say. I know I can be an asshole but what I go by. The way you treat me is the way I'll treat you. I hope we could start over"
"I'll think about it"
"When your done thinking about it here's my number," I said as I looked over at Brad who handed me one of my business card.

I gave it to her and she looked at it before walking away. I looked a Jerry, "good luck in your business," I told him before leaving the lounge with Brad following behind me.

Sugar's P.O.V ~
I walked back in to my dressing room with Dolly following behind me.
"We won't lose our jobs!," she said smiling big.
"I know," I responded back at her softly.
She took a seat on the small couch and looked at me.
"What's in your mind, Sugar," she told me as I went to change out of my outfit to my robe.
"Nothing," I responded as I sat down infront of a mirror and began to take off my make up.
"That's a damn lie. What's in the head of yours?" She asked once again.

I sighed "It never crossed my mind that it was him. I mean I know Jerry told us it was him the day Diamond kissed him." I looked down at the business card reading his name.

There was a knock on the door and Dolly went to open it. It was Jerry.
"I want you out in 5 minutes I'm making a meeting," he said when opened the door. Both Dolly and I nodded.
I went to change to more comfortable clothes and heading just outside my dressing room. Every girl was there standing for Jerry.

"He said in 5 minutes where is he?" I said looking around and saw he was just coming out the bathroom.
"Sorry. So news. We're gonna stay open! Mr. Jackson is giving us another change on one condition. That Diamond stays away from him," he said looking at her. She just nodded.
"You can all go home. The lounge would be closed for the week due to remodeling. You'll get paid for the week so don't worry," he said before leaving.

I looked at Dolly and she looked back, "I'm tired. Let's go home." she nodded and with that, we both left and went home.

We got home in 30 minutes. I was laying in bed staring at the ceiling and thinking if I should get to know Michael. I know you are not supposed to judge a book by its cover but, he almost put me out of a job. I'll just think about it the next few days.
