"Uhh," I hummed as I pulled at the crust on my slice of pizza to get it out of the box, "rush hour."

"I was hopin you would say that" he smiled at me and backed out of the kitchen.

Once he returned I had two slices of cheese pizza on my plate and a half eaten one in my hand. I actually was starving so I wasn't just going to stare down at the pizza. Michael caught me off guard when he laughed as he walked over to his refrigerator and grabbed the new bag of plain potato chips from the top. He pulled them open before grabbing a bowl out of the cabinet and dumping half of the bag inside.

"What's funny?" I asked with my hand covering my mouth as I chewed my food.

"Nothing it's just I thought you were more of a one slice, watching my carbs type of chick," he replied rolling up the lays bag and grabbing a bag clip from the drawer in front of him. He tossed the bag on the counter before moving to the island in the middle of the kitchen where I was standing.

"All girls aren't like what you see depicted on a television screen." I bit into the pizza and Michael shrugged.

"There's girls like that in real life too" he retorted as he grabbed two slices of pepperoni pizza from the box and onto a plate.

"Well" I sighed and followed him with my eyes as he moved around the kitchen "that's not me."

Michael bit down on his bottom, nodding his head. He grabbed his plate and the bowl of chips before nodding his head for me to follow him. I thought that we were going to watch the movie in the living room, but as we walked through the small apartment I realized that we were heading to his bedroom.

He used his foot to kick open the cracked door and I followed him inside. I glanced around at the medium sized bedroom and was surprised at how neat it was. It didn't look like somebody slept in this room let alone lived in it. Giggling to myself I realized that Michael had cleaned up for my benefit.

There was no way his room looked this decent on a daily basis, but for now I was going give him the benefit of the doubt, who knows he could surprise me like he has before.

"Ima be right back" Michael said while setting his plate and the bowl on his bed. He looked over at me and shook his head.

"I don't bite Farrah" he teased which only made me roll my eyes.

That's not the way I remembered it, I thought to myself before walking passed Michael to the other side of his bed. Michael left out of the room and right as I was taking my shoes off my phone rang in my back pocket. I pulled it out only to see Symphony and I's picture flash across the screen.

Rolling my eyes, I declined the call then turned my phone on silent and sat it on Michael's night stand. By the time I had my shoes off and was sitting on Michael's bed comfortably he returned with two Pepsi cans.

"I'm a Pepsi man," he announced as he handed one over to me.

I grabbed it from his hand and kissed my teeth, "coke is better."

I actually preferred Pepsi better, but for the sake of wanting to mess with Michael...

"That tasteless shit," he grunted and then scoffed.

He was right, coke was strong and pretty tasteless.

"You don't know what you're missing," I replied and balanced my plate on my thighs as I opened the can.

He smirked as he climbed on the bed beside me. He placed the bowl of chips between us and picked up a slice of his pizza, leaning his head back to take a bite.
