Why would you say that?-chapter 5

Chapter 5 -

***Jesy's POV***

None of us girls had spoken to Leigh-Anne since last night in the club but I knew that she was going to turn up today and the tension was going to be awful. I was the first one to turn up at management, then Perrie and then Jade. The meeeting was to start at 9.30 and it was 9.10 right now. We were all thinking that Leigh wouldn't turn up but at 9.20 we heard her walk through the door talking to someone on the phone.

"Okay, I have to go now as I am at the studio. Don't worry about Jake, he is the one who is losing out and make sure you look after those beautiful nieces of mine. I will ring you later okay, stay strong sis, love you:)" was what we heard as Leigh quietly closed the door behind her.

"Hey Leigh. Are you okay?"I asked her, not wanting to make this anymore uncomfortable than it already was.

I could already see that Perrie had turned her face away and was reading a message that had just come through on her phone.

"Hello girls, I'm really sorry about that. I was just speaking to my sister but don't worry I made sure I ..." Leigh said before she was cut off my our main manager saying;

"Girls you can come in now," before we all shuffled slowly into the room. The room was eerily silent as we all took a seat, Perrie one end of the table and Leigh the other. Me and Jade thought that this was all getting out of hand and all just a bit silly to be honest. We understood that Pezza was angry but it was an important show for Jade as well, and even though she was still angry inside, she just wanted to drop it and carry on living her dream with her best friends.

We were in there for about 4 hours and by the end I don't really think anyone was listening. We were going through the schedule for America next week and it was all becoming too much for all of us I think. Perrie was recieving messages every 5 minutes from Zayn and Leigh was just looking really down.I deicded to take a breath of air outside the room as I was starting to feel really claustrophobic. As I was stood outside the door I heard Leigh speak my name. I didn't want to be nosy but I just listened to what was being said.

"Don't you think Jesy is pathetic. Like really we are only going to America for a week, can you imagine what she would be like if we went for months??" I heard Leigh say to the other girls.

I had been a bit worried about going to America next week as it had been 2 years since my mum and dad split up and my mum wasn't coping very well. I was just worrying about the time difference and I went to the girls because I thought I could trust them.

"How can you say that? You know why she was worried and if you were her best friend, you would support her and be there for to look after her," I could hear Perrie say.

I think they were shocked that she had said something like that when she knew that we were all angry with her from the last show anyway. I knew that I would have the other girls on my side but I had to say something to Leigh about why she had said that. I slowly opened the door and poked my head around the corner. I could see the anger on Perrie and Jade's faces and Leigh had some sort of evil grin on her face which made me turn my vision to the picture on the wall. It was a canvas photo of the minute we found out we had won the X Factor. We look like the best of friends and we all look so happy. I wish it could go back to how it was when we had first met. 

"Why would you say that? I trusted you to tell you why I was so upset and why I was a bit nervous to go to America and then as soon as I leave the room, you start to make fun of me behind my back. I heard everything you said, you know, from behind that door?" I said. I was trying so hard not to cry but I could feel tears start to form in my eyes.

"Not to be rude or anything Jesy, but all you ever do is cry. You will still have contact with your family but we all have family as well you know. We all have problems.You aren't the only one! Sometimes, I think you just need to grow up."

I had always been emotional after everything that happened to me when I was younger but once I had met these girls I thought I would be able to be myself and not have to worry about what they thought. Obviously not. That was it, I couldn't hold the tears anymore. I turned around so I was facing the wall until I felt two pairs of strong arms wrap around me. I realised it was Perrie and Jade. I gave them the biggest hug ever as I started to break down in their arms. 

"Ssshhhh, it's ok. Calm down Jes. Don't listen to anything she says, your so beautiful and we love you,"Perrie said as Jade wiped away the tears from my mascara stained cheeks.

I loved these girls so much, they always had my back and I could rely on them for anything. Leigh didn't even say sorry to me as we were let home from the meeting. I decided that me, Jade and Perrie would go out into town as it was only 2pm so all the shops would still be open in town. The girls spoilt me rotten and I had such a lovely afternoon. I had forgotten about all of the stress which had previously happened. 

Once I got home it was about 6 and I was expecting to see Jordan. However, I saw a note he had left which said 'Gone to Leigh's. She said she wanted to see me. Won't be home too late, love you boo:*' Great, what would she want to see Jordan for. Anyway, I put on my comfiest pair of pyjamas, made myself a lovely hot chocolate, ordered a take away and facetimed my mum and sister. My mum was feeling a lot better and that boosted my confidence and it made me feel better about leaving for America on Saturday. It was 8pm and Jordan wasn't home so I put on my favourite TV show and settled down for the night not having any idea what time he would be home. I would ask him what she wanted in the moment but for now, I was going to rest. I didn't think today would have turned out like this.
