Is this the end?
Gas Them. The words echoed in Holtzmann's head. She chose death once already as to protect her friends. Will she chose death again?
"Come to the hospital! They're taking Erin to surgery!" Phillip's voice blurted out of Patty's phone as she did a sharp U-turn.
"What the fuck do you mean she's having surgery? What happened?" Patty screams back, as she races towards the hospital, Abby will have to wait.
Abby, awoke to a new surrounding. She was laid down, on a cold metal table. Her arms and legs strapped down. There was a mask covering her mouth, so she couldn't talk. She pulled on the restrains but there was no luck, she was trapped. She looked around her: a bright light above her, grey walls surrounding her but then she rolled her head to the right and she saw...
Patty, raced down the hospital corridor. Coming to a halt at the main desk. "Where is Erin Gilbert?" She demanded and the nurse jumped, due to not realising Patty had approached.
"Your relation to Erin Gilbert?" The nurse asked.
"I'm her friend, I brought her here." Patty states, gritting her teeth. The nurse types on her computer.
"Oh, Erin Gilbert has just gone into surgery."
"Fuck," Patty muttered. "Do you know what for?" She asks.
"Umm," The nurse clicks on the computer, reading the notes, "An emergency carotid endarterectomy."
"Emergency?!?" Patty can't hide the concern in her voice.
"Huh, yeah. It says here that Erin Gilbert has had a stoke."
Erin had a stoke?! A stroke?!!?
"Fuck sakes!" Patty cries, marching away from the desk. To the room Erin was previously put in, where Phillip was waiting for Patty.
"What the fuck happened? " Patty shouts at him, before he even realizes she had entered the room. He looks up at her startled, "I uhhh." He manages to say.
"I told you to look after her! Why can't you do anything for anyone Phillip?! You are a self centered bastard!" Patty was cracking, the anger was forcing it's way out.
Patty who had two hours to wait for the surgery to finish so she could see Erin. Who still didn't know where Abby was. Who hadn't seen Holtzmann in God knows how long. Was breaking.
"I'm going for a walk." Patty states, as she angrily storms out the room and out of the hospital. What the in the world was she supposed to do?!
Gas Them. His voice rung in Holtzmann's ears as she looked down at her friend. Her friend tied down to the table, staring back at her. Making muffled noises behind the mask. Holtzmann, didn't know what to do. She was human again, and she wanted to stay that way. Her finger lingered above the button. Gas Them All.
Patty, walked out to the Ecto-1. Unlocking the door and climbing inside. She need to be alone right now. Away from the noises of the city and everyone in it. She sat in the car, bashing the steering wheel. Her fists, began to feel numb from pain. But she was still angry. Would there ever be an end to this? Will she ever get her happy ending?
