The end. The very end.

The call was for a ghost at a restaurant. The press, surprisingly, already there, waiting and watching like vultures. Quickly, they went inside the building. Armed and ready to bust.

"Come out, come out where ever you are..." Jillian sung and the ghost ran at her. She smiled, firing her ray directly at it.

Erin, fired her gun and so did Patty. Tangling up the small ghost.

"Well that was easy." Patty said, as Abby reached for the trap on her proton pack.

"I guess..." Erin said, focusing on the ghost. Who all though it tried, could not escape the streams. Abby kicked the trap under the ghost and began the count down.

"3," Her foot on the peddle, "2". Patty, Holtzmann and Erin ready with their proton gun ray switch. "1!"

Proton guns off and trap open. Ghost 500 captured!

Police officers called out instructions to each other, something about a warehouse fire. Phillip sighed.
"Fire prograde is there, five engines tackling the fire." He heard one officer say.
"So far we believe everyone made it out of the building." Another officer said to a doctor, "So you can call off your ambulance dispatch."
Then two officers came in through the door, "Doctor needed!" They where carrying a dark haired women, "This women is highly malnourished and recovering from what we believe is electric shocks. She passed out in the car on the way here."
Doctors rushed over, the women was placed in a wheelchair. That's when Phillip saw her face. His mouth dropped wide and her darted back to Erin's room.

"So you're sure you're not high?" The officer asked, as she drove Jillian to the hospital. Jillian smiled looking out the back window of the car. It was so nice to be able to sit and enjoy a car ride. You wouldn't realise how many things you'd miss when you die.
"Honestly I could be high, I don't know what drugs Rowan gave me." Jillian shrugged. "But being high is normally more fun than this."Jillian giggled.
Th officer rolled her eyes,"You're definitely the weirdest person I've ever had to pick up. "
"Im probably the hottest too." Jillian winked and then remembered she was in her burial clothes and probably stank horribly,"Wait no scratch that I am a huge mess right now."
The officer just sighs,"I thought you where dating... uhh what's the other ghostbusters name?"
"What? Which one?"
"You know the one with short brown hair?"
"Oh Erin. Wait you though we where dating?!"
"Huh, yeah. I mean you're gay right? And well I just thought with what she said at your... funeral and all..."
"My funeral? Oh god it's so weird to say I've had a funeral." Jillian said thinking out loud,"What did she say?"
"Oh lord I can't remember exactly but I'm pretty sure she said she loved you..."
"She did?? but... we're best friends we're not dating..."
"Alright Jillian, my bad. I presumed wrong. But ay... off the books, I think any girl would be lucky to date you, even if you've been dead for the last two months." The officer and Jillian laughed.
"Thanks, but dating isn't my priority right now, need to find my friends first."

"So we're going to need some X-rays to figure out how bad the breakage is, and then we can figure out how to fix it." The Doctor said. Patty nods. "But while you wait for that, I got them anger management forms you asked for." He passed Patty some paper, "So if you just go sit back in the waiting area, you can fill them out while you wait?"
Patty smiled, at least she hadn't broke her writing hand.

Jillian and the officer climbed out the police car and headed into the hospital, "Well lets find your friends shall we?"
"Thank you officer...?" Jillian asked as they walked down the corridor.
"Officer Haught."
"Haught, of cause it is." Holtzmann smiled, "Thank you Officer Haught."
"It's my job, now..." officer Haught came to a stop as she saw a male officer, "Deputy Marshal!" She called out and he walked over.
"Dispatched asked for Jillian Holtzmann?" Haught asked and Marshal nods.
"Yes, thank you." He turned to Holtzmann,"Abby has been brought in and is being seen to by doctors, and it seems that your other two friends Erin and Patty are here at the hospital too. Patty is being X-rayed while, Erin recovers from a surgery in room 20."
Holtzmann just stares at the officer. Who sighs,"I know it's a lot to take in, but officer Haught will lead you to Erin's room and we'll have a doctor come check on you."

"So you're saying Abby is here?"
"Yes!" Phillip says and Erin shakes her head.
"You're sure?"
"I'm certain."
That's when the door opened and Officer Haught walked in, Jillian behind her.
Erin's jaw went wide. "HOLTZMANN!" Erin shouted a smile plastered on Jillian's face.
"In the flesh, surprisingly." Jillian said walking over to her friend, pulling her into a hug.
"B-but how?!" Erin says pulling away, looking her friend up and down.
"Well you see-"
Jillian was cut short by a doctor entering the room. "Jillian I must examine you." With a sigh Jillian stepped away from her friend and over to the doctor.
"You know Doc, I might be the weirdest patient you'll ever treat in your carrier. I did die two months ago."
The doctor just frowned,"I know it was on the news."
"I was on the news?!" Jillian said with a smile, "Wait no, I'm normally on the news, with hunting ghosts and all."
Erin laughed at Holtzmann, the normal joking, human Holtzmann.

The doctor ignored Jillian and started shining lights in her eyes and checking her blood pressure. That's when the door opened again. "ABBY!" Jillian shouted as her friend came in on her wheelchair.
Abby smiled, looking at Jillian and at Erin, "Someone pinch me so I know this is real."

Patty now in her cast, went to the main desk to hand in her forms. When she saw all the police officers she grew concerned. The nurse took her forms and Patty slowly made her way to Erin's room.

"Well Jillian I can't see anything wrong wi you, but we'll need some blood tests. I'll go arrange that with the main desk, be right back." The doctor left the room, followed by Officer Haugh who had been called by Officer Marshal.

Patty saw the doctor and officer leave Erin's room and her gut twisted. "Please be alright." She whispered and she slowly opened the door. Stepping inside to be defended by her three friends screaming her name. Instantly no longer nervous, instead she was overwhelmed with happiness. She began to cry.
"You're all here!" Patty cried, "And you're not a ghost!"

"Our 500th ghost, that means drinks all round! You're dead friend is paying!" Holtzmann cheered when they arrived back to the firehouse. The other three ghostbusters smiled.
"You should really stop saying that, you're no longer dead." Erin says, following Jillian up the stairs. Patty and Abby share a look then follow up the stairs too.
The ghostbusters change out their suits, and find themselves sat about Jillian's lab.
"What's the date today?" Abby asks, as she unfolds a piece of paper she picked up.
"Uhh, its Friday. The-"
"27th of March?" Abby cuts Erin off.
"Yeah. Why?" Erin asks and Abby sighs.
"It's been four years."
"Four years since what Abs?" Patty asks.
"Since the deathly two months." The room goes quiet.
"Four years?!" Jillian asks, "And I'm still saying dead friend jokes."
Erin smiles, walking over to Jillian, pulling er into a hug,"That you do, along with your nightmares."
Holtzmann frowns, "Yeah... I guess I'm not fully recovered."
"That means I've been going to anger management for four years..." Patty says, her eyes wide,"wow."
"Huhmm."Abby hums,"It means a lot of things."
"That it does, but more positively it means me and Holtz have been dating for three years."
"Shit, three years?"Patty says with a laugh.
"Ah yeah I remember, you got really jealous of me dating Officer Haught, so you spilled all your feelings when you got wasted at the bar."
"That I did..."Erin says, kissing Holtzmann's cheek, "But look how far we've come. And I mean all of us, we've all changed from them crazy two months."

It was a crazy too months. Two months of Jillian dead, Abby missing and Erin and Patty ill. But it ended with Jillian coming back, Abby being found, Erin recovering from her surgery and Patty going to monthly anger management meetings.
It ended happily, but one thing remained, "what happened to Rowan?"

Okay cheesy happy ending, sorry. And I've slightly left it open in case I ever want to come back and write more. But for now it's done. So hope you've enjoyed! ❤️😅
