Rei's Confidant (Rank 1)- The Awakening of the Aeon Arcana

A/N: Hello, guys! Ayane is here and back to update more on Serendipity! This Confidant is connected to the Canon story as it happened after the events of Kamoshida's Palace. So here's Rei Miyamoto's  Confidant! 

This will be the last chapter I will update before I take a week off or two to rest during my time in a short hiatus before getting back on writing again. 

I will be continuing with this series soon, as I enjoy writing Serendipity as it brings back my memory of when it was first released internationally around 2017. However, I haven't gotten started on it until after a year of its release.

I was fascinated by how the games transitioning goes, especially on applying real-world terminology and how we think about society today. Though I did beat the vanilla version game, I still, unfortunately, didn't beat the Royal version due to college and real-life situations so far... I think I stopped after beating Kaneshiro's Palace?

Anyway, enough said as I hope you all enjoy this chapter! ^^

4/21- Shujin Academy/After School- Akira's POV

"Hey, Akira. Do you have time after school to train at the gym?"

"Sorry, Ryuji. I'm supposed to return a pencil to Rei along with meeting up with her today. Have you seen her?" Akira asked about the whereabouts of the brunette.

"I dunno. Wasn't she in class earlier?" Ryuji replied with another question.

"One moment, Rei's in class, and then the next thing, she's off in a second. Honestly, I never have seen someone who can bolt that fast in an instant." The Noiret said with a sigh.

"Well, you'd have a point. Rei's a weird one, but we know that once her mind's set up, she'll do whatever she can on her part. Anyway, I'm gonna head home now. Catch ya later, dude!" Ryuji says his goodbyes for now with a wave, as he walks off with Akira returning the gesture.

'Where's, did Rei go? I hope she's not trying to avoid me.'  He'd wondered to himself as he recalls the memory from yesterday on the messages.

'Pfft... Why are you so cute with emojis XD.'

'When I say you're cute, It also means you're handsome and unique in your way.'

'What are you? A ladies' man? I think not!'

'I like how Rei can be straightforward with me on her being herself. I guess that's why I'm able to get along with her in the first place.' Akira stated mentally with a small smile onto her playful yet endearing words to him.

After Ryuji left, Akira uses his time to buy a drink at the vending machines out of Shujin. After receiving his selected drink, he received a notification that turns out to be from Rei.

Rei: Hi Akira, I wanted to check by If you're still free, that is.

Rei: Sorry I bolted out so soon, as I feel like you've wanted to speak with me about something, but I have to rush to the library to go print out something. Along with letting my Aunt know that I'll not be home until later on in exchange for double the time of cleaning the attic for the next day. ^^;
