Winter Miracles (Skit)

A/N: Hello guys! I'm back for something for this new skit!

This will be a shorter passage instead of my usual ones but something as sort of a 'taste tester' in terms of slowly getting back into writing more romance-related things, aka fluff. It will be formatted in the message form to capture the essence of the 'texting' environment as this particular scene takes place on a winter night! 

Without further ado, let's get on with the skit!

Rei: Ack, can't sleep.

Akira: Are you alright, Treasure? Insomnia, again?

Rei: Er... not really. Just the sound of heavy sleet that woke me up. Oh... Sorry did I wake you?

Akira: No, actually, I was reading a novel I got from Jinbocho. Before I even know it, Morgana is already asleep right at the end of the bed.

Rei: ...Morgana, didn't tell you to go to sleep this time?

Akira: Surprisingly, not this time. Or maybe, he tried to tell me, but I got too engrossed with the novel. It was a good read.

Rei: Well... that's... something.  But now I'm curious, what's the novel called?

Akira: It's called The Ring.

Rei: Oh wow, that one has a movie adaptation on it! I heard it's prevalent! :)

Akira: Haha, it sure is.

Akira: I wonder, you never watched The Ring?

Rei: I only read the books, but I never got a chance to watch that movie.

Akira: If you like, I can take you to the movies this week. As if right now, they're doing reruns of it.

Rei: O-O ...I thought they'll do reruns around Halloween?

Akira: Well, for some reason, the movie theater nearby your place has a special event of "Couples Horror Night"

Rei: ...So you're asking me out on another date? :O

Akira: Well... why wouldn't I be? ;)

Rei: You sneaky bastard.

Akira: Ouch, that's painful.

Rei: -_- Uh-huh... Sure.

Rei: Anyways, what day do you want to have our date?

Rei: Akira, are you here?

Akira: ...

Rei: Uh... Are you okay?

Rei: Er... Did I make you upset? 

Rei: ...

Akira: I'm here. :3

Rei: ... I was worried sick, you Four-Eyes nerd! 

Akira: But you love me!

Rei: ...That I do.

Akira: I was pranking you a bit. But knowing you, I can't get mad at you because of this. Besides, I find you adorable for you being yourself.

Rei: Akira...

Akira: If one thing this winter inspires me, I want to say is that you are someone who I last expected, let alone my girlfriend. 

Akira: When you appeared in my life during the beginning of my probation, I honestly thought you were an angel. A miracle from heaven.

Rei: ...Gosh, that's cheesy. But I love it.

Rei: But getting back on it. Akira, for, whatever happens, I'll be there all the way, so don't worry, we will fight on together.

Akira: ...Honestly, that's one of the reasons why I'm attracted to you.

Rei: Haha... I say it because I believe in it.

Akira: And that side of you will always shine through with you.

Rei: Yeah.. :) 

Rei: Well... other than declaring our love, lol. So, about the movie theater event, were you proposing another date to watch, The Ring?

Akira: Of course. For you to not watch the movie, you're missing out! 

Rei: Well, I'm all up for it. I'm all in as I have no plans for tomorrow and the day after that.

Akira: That's fine. Meet me in front of the theater in Shibuya by tomorrow at 2:00 P.M.

Rei: Alright! I'll see you the-

.....

Akira: Rei? Is everything alright?

Rei: The hailstorm stopped, and now for some reason, it's snowing!

Akira: Well, it looks like an unexpected miracle happened again. And I'm glad to be able to share it with you, my precious Treasure.

Rei: ...Same goes for me as well.
