They're back?! Oh my gods.
I drop my water and start heading for the arena. Slowly but surely. Wait, I could just shadow travel. But then Will would see. Not a good idea. I continue trudging my small body along to the arena, When I, finally, get there, there's a huge crowd standing around, yet the first face that catches my attention is that of a tall, blonde haired, blue eyed boy named William Solace.
He sees me so I wave as I continue over to him, but he just adverts his attention back to an Aphrodite girl. Why did he do that? Then I feel a hand on my shoulder and turn around to see Leo.
"Hey, Neeks-" I cut him off.
"Don't call me that, Valdez."
"Sorry Death Breath." He smirks.
"Leo, please stop." I push his hand off my shoulder.
"What? Only your boyfriend allowed to call you that?" He laughs.
"Will is not my boyfriend!" I say, flustered and covering my face.
"I never said Will's name, Nico..." he says.
I quickly turn around to hide myself from Leo. I'm filled with anger, embarrassment, and sadness. I look down to my feet as I turn around and start limping back to my cabin. I see feet pass me and then suddenly I run into something-- or someone. I look up and there's Will standing there with a sly grin on his face.
"Leave me alone..." I push him to the side and start heading to my cabin.
"Nico, wait. Woah woah woah woah. Woah. Stop. Why are you limping?!" I guess he saw, oh well.
"It's nothing, now leave me alone." I continue walking.
"Nico, stop." I've never heard him speak in that tone of voice so I stop, turn around, and stare at him wide eyed. He comes over, picks me up, slings me over his shoulder and starts walking to the infirmary.
"I could've walked, Will." I sigh.
"Too bad." He laughs.
