(Alex's POV)

I woke up to a knock on the door. My eyes slowly opened. I still felt really tired and didn't feel like getting up. I also felt really comfortable. Too comfortable... But at that moment I didn't really give two shits. I closed my eyes again and snuggled closer to the warmth.

Another knock made me groan in annoyance. That's when my eyes shot open and I finally realized that I was way to comfortable. I felt arms around me and knew that those arms belonged to no other than Thomas Jefferson.

Thomas's eyes fluttered open as well, just to find me starring at him, wide eyed. Our faces were really close to each other. I couldn't help but look at his lips. We started leaning in. The outside was calm but the inside was freaking out. Our lips were about to touch when another knock interrupted us. I quickly got up and walked over to the door.

"Hello?" I basically asked once I opened the door. I looked to see who it was and found John standing there. He looked worried or impatient. I couldn't tell which. But I was confused on why he was here.

"Alex! There you are! We've all been wondering where you are! Did you forget?" He asked. At first I just looked at him confused. Then my eyes went wide and I face palmed myself. I was supposed to meet John and his friends at the park!

"No! I didn't forget! Im just uh, running a little late! That's all! Um, you come in I guess and I'll just go quickly get finished getting ready!" I said quickly. Letting him inside. I ran to my room, grabbing my clothes, just some casual clothing. I got what I needed then ran to the bathroom.

(John's POV)

I could tell that Alexander was not ready at all and totally forgot about meeting my friends. But that's okay. It was kind of funny watching him run around.

After he ran into the bathroom. I was kind of left to just stand there awkwardly. I looked around there dorm. It was mostly the same as all the other dorms. Nothing too exciting. But once my eyes trailed over to the living room area, I saw another pair of narrow eyes looking back at me.

Thomas Jefferson was on the couch, glaring at me. I didn't exactly understand why. Maybe Alex told him about me supposedly "beating" him. Which I never did. But he doesn't know that. (420 watcha smokin')

"Um... hi..?" I said awkwardly to him. He just glared at me. He got up from the couch. At first it looked like he was coming towards me but then he walked past me and towards the kitchen. I couldn't help but shake a little bit. He reminded me of my dad. The way he would glare at me and walk toward me and.... abuse me. But it's weird. Thomas never used to act like that. Usually we would mind our own businesses and stay out of each other's way. But now whenever he sees me he glares at me. It's ever since I started hanging out with Alex.

Alex did explain that they used to be childhood friends. But why would he get defensive of Alexander? It doesn't make sense. Besides, they aren't even friends anymore. Unless something happened in two days.

(Thomas' POV)

I glared at John the whole time. Were they going on a date or something? What was MY Alexander doing with John again?! If this is a date there's no way I'm going to let them go! Nuh uh! No way! It's not fair! Why won't Alexander go on a date with me?! I can already see everything that could happen if they go on a date! It's not pretty... I WILL NOT ALLOW MY ALEXANDER TO GO ON A DATE WITH JOHN LAURENS! ALEXANDER IS MINE AND ONLY MINE! John is officially a threat. And he needs to be eliminated.

Alex came out of the bathroom wearing casual clothes. So now he's trying to hide that he's going on a date by wearing casual clothing?! He's good... But not good enough!
