Chapter 24

Okay, so, I'm going to put something in this that I've never told anyone since the event and it's really hard for me to talk about or even think about for me personally. It makes me think really lowly of myself and I'm afraid of what other people will think of me when I think about it. So, Ash is based off of me and I thought it was time to finally let it out if my system kind of and slip it into this book by making Ash say it instead.. I'm literally trying not to cry right now. I'll let you know when it comes up and comment your ACTUAL REAL THOUGHTS ABOUT IT PLEASE! I want to know if it's just all in my head or if it was actually a bad thing that I should feel guilty about..

Third person POV

Hercules gave Ash her- well, Alex's clothes and she got changed into them. It was pretty casual wear, a T-shirt that said 'I put the bi in bitch!', she wasn't bi but she didn't care, and ripped light blue skinny jeans. As she was looking at herself in the mirror she noticed the cuts on her arms. Afriad that someone would notice, she put on her black sweater again.

Ash walked out and everyone went to go examine how she looked as she stood awkwardly in the middle of the room with everyone swarming around her. She fought of the panic attack that she wanted to have with everyone around her.

"Loose the sweater mon ami! Its a million degrees out here!" Lafayette exclaimed.

"NUH UH!" She and Alex screeched, both being typically cold people.

"Alright, you look good enough! Now come with me and we'll do your makeup!" Maria exclaimed.

"U-um, makeup..? I-I don't know if.. uh.. heh... I uh." Ash said awkwardly, then looked to Alex for help.

Alex gave her a look and mother the words 'do you want me to tell them?' Ash hesitated before shrugging nervously. Alex rolled his eyes and proceeded anyways.

"Guys, Ash is gender fluid." He told.

"Ohhhh.." Herc and Laf said at the same time.

"Oh my God! I'm so sorry, Ash! I shouldn't have assumed!" Maria apologized.

"It's okay!" Ash replied in reassurance.

"What are you today? If you don't mind me asking." Maria asked.

"Female." Ash replied, not really, she really felt male that day but she saw Maria's makeup kit and really didn't want Maria to feel bad and waste time by doing all that just because of some silly gender! And besides! Males can wear makeup too!

"Yay! Can I do your makeup then?!" Maria asked excitedly.

Ash nodded in agreement.

She never had makeup on before except for when she was young and had Halloween makeup on, back when they were a happier family. Or the time she once decided to use her mother's makeup and put it on herself. That got her in big trouble. She didn't put it on wrong or smudge it all over the walls or something, it was just the fact that she used it. When she was younger she didn't understand but once she grew up she realised that she didn't like people taking her stuff and using it or something without her permission first.

While Maria did Ash's makeup, Maria asked Ash questions. Surprisingly, even though to answer the questions Ash's face moved, Maria still was doing the makeup perfectly. She was the best at doing makeup, with Lafayette running in second, despite him not actually using makeup.

"So, what's your sexuality?" Maria asked.

Ash glanced at Alex before Alex nodded his head, saying that it was okay and they weren't homophobic.

"P-pansexual." She answered. Trying not to move her face too much when she spoke.

"Which are you attracted to more?" Maria asked.

"Females." Ash answered nervously.

"Have you had a girlfriend or boyfriend yet?" Maria asked.

"N-no."

"Then how do you know what your sexuality is." Maria asked.

(Here's the story now..)

"W-well, when I was younger.. I'm pretty sure I was 7. Me and my class went on a field trip to the swimming pool, and we were assigned buddies of the same gender to stay with, which included getting changed together. So my buddy and me went to one of the changing rooms and began changing after we looked away from each other. When I was done changing, I turned back to her and.. I'm not sure what really happened but she kind of kissed me and I just kind of stood there not knowing what to do. She was like two years older than me as well. But we just kind if continued on as friends after that until she changed schools (it was actually the other way around- wait no, now I'm remembering, the school shut down and then we went to different schools after that, but for the stories sake, the buddy switched schools). I didn't really know what happened but.. I know that I kind of liked it.. and then I've never been in a relationship with a boy but I know that I've had crushes on boys, girls, and others so I just assumed I liked all.." she told hesitantly.

(I know it doesn't seem that bad but in my mind it was a lot worse whenever I think about it.. or maybe it was just my mind playing tricks on me.. idk.. help?)

"Oh.." Maria said.

It was a few seconds of silence before Maria said 'Done!'

Everyone went to go look.

"Nice job, Maria!"

"Ash you look, how you say, perfect!"

"Thanks guys.." she blushed.

"We've only got.. 1 hour! Come on let's go people!" Alex yelled.

"Alex, it's like a 5 minute drive away. We don't have tow leave for a while yet!" Thomas told him.

"Early is on time in New York!" Alex said. Dragging Ash out.

"DONT RUIN HER MAKEUP!" Maria yelled.

"I WANNA COME!" Peggy yelled.

"Wait a minute.. THATS MY CAR YOU CANT DRIVE IT!" Thomas screeched running after Peggy, Alex, and Ash, but not before dramatically jumping over the couch.

I got lazy again, whoops. Don't worry, soon I'll be back on track with more of the Jamilton and shit and get Ash out of the way! But yeah. That thing was something I've never told anyone and I was really hesitant on publishing this..
