Hello beloved Christian, how are you ? Hope you are doing fine.
Today in this chapter we are going to talk about our physical growth. I mean things that change about us when we grow and we can see it physically (don't know if it makes sense but...). You see that baby above? We all were once like that too.So at one point in time you look at the mirror and you seem suprised by the reflection which is surely not the same like some years back so u are tempted to ask like 'What is happening to my body'.
That feeling when you know you are changing but hope no one notices it but an aunt bluts out innocently
"With those hips you have, you are fit to be a mother"
Or when a classmates comments "hm nice butt there" and then you feel like the earth should swallow you up or better still you should just dissapear to planet Mars? Well girl you are not alone, welcome to my world.Puberty is usually accompanied by many changes. There is no exact age for it but some people start experiencing the changes as from 8years but others as late as 16years so it varies.
🌼 For girls 🌼 (*boys just roll down to your section,I will be with you in a minute*)
*clears throat* as I was saying...
For us girls, the breast, hips and butt increase in size and take a much more feminine body shape. For some teens, 'I especially' ,it was confusing. We never know what next surprise our body reserves for us. However it is normal. Be patient and accept the idea of Jehovah giving you the opportunity of becoming a womanAs a Christian,as our body changes,we should be careful about our dressing. We should remember we are the body of Christ and the temple of the holy spirit so we should dress with modestie. Read 1 timothy chapter 2 verse 9.
The second puzzling part in our growth as Christian girls is our monthly blood flow. If you were not prepared,it might be frightful. You feel so dirty, you scrub your body for hours under the shower ,horified by the idea of this happening every month?? I understand. But I reassure you,it is perfectly normal ,your body hormones are just preparing you for later on when you will be able to give life.
Is your body experiencing all the changes earlier said?? Or you just can't find your emotional equilibrium? You don't understand why you are so happy during the day but suddenly feel so sad at night and cry? Well don't feel alone, It is just a phase in our life. If you have any question p.m me or just comment under. We all are family so don't feel ashamed,we are bond by Christ.
⚽ boys⚽ ( so sorry for the wait guys. OK this is it for you ,but before that, I have to say am not a boy so don't crucify me if it sounds like rubbish at first🙏. If you think I said something not true about you guys, just p.m me and I will remove it immediately😀)
*clears throat* OK here we go..
If you are a boy, puberty will change your appearance. You remember that cute little boy with a smooth face you saw when looking at the mirror some years back? Well you will have to say bye to that. It will be a war of pimples, fighting day and night, you will never know if they will go ,leave scars or reduce your estime.
But beloved, don't base your self on that, let's see the positive side. No more skinny arms, you become strong, the tinny chest broadens but don't worry if you are so tall and feel like a giraffe on a skate board or rollers. Remember its just mid adolescence, it is a gradual process so all will be OK before you know it. You may start having that big voice and your genitals may increase in size too.Well contrary to the girl, you will have bed wet or something like that.(guys help me call it right). Like when you sleep in the night and get up wet, don't scream you didn't pee in your pants. That liquid is called sperms and contains millions of spermatozoides. Your body absorb some but it releases some during your sleep. If you are experiencing that, glory be to Jehovah. You are a man now. Don't feel scared or abnormal, it is just a growth process. Read Leviticus chapter 15 verse 16&17
🌈 Conclusion🌈
The reason why I wrote this chapter is to help us understand ourselves and hope it answered any doubt you have. Our growth is just like moving from a house to another. The transfer is never easy but you seem to get to love your new house even better. Leaving Childhood is just like a house transfer, maybe difficult at first but you should not be frightened. Puberty is not a disease and you are not the only one going through all that.
Jehovah planned it so. Now you have to grow spiritually and in your thinking. You should act now like an adult as Apostle Paul tells us in 1 Corinthian's 13 verse 11 (please read the bible verses.we have to equally grow Christ wise). Don't focus on your physical growth and forget about your spiritual growth with Jesus Christ. As teens we have to continue reflecting Jesus Christ.Wel I hope it helped someone. Any question ask,any suggestion please do.
Hun,don't be a silent reader😷
Tell me what you think☺
I don't bite(maybe😏)Jesus loves you and I too😘😘
