Are they some days you just feel like sleeping in bed all day like the day is not worth getting up for? Life seems colourless, tasteless and worthless.
Many youths at a point in time feel so bad about them selves and soon make declarations like
-- I hate myself
--I am a total failure
-- I have no good quality, everyone criticises me
-- I don't feel loved at all
-- and yours________?Before we get into the topic properly, I just want to say this: Even though this dark hour may last long,you should know that things will change even if there is no sign yet. God has plans for you,he says in Psalms 30 verse 11 "I will change your sadness into a joyful dance,I will take away your sorrow and surround you with joy". Persevere. I say this because many youths turn out to take away their lives(suicide) when they think there is no hope for them. God is speaking to you, he got special plans for you. Welcome misses,misters,sirs and madams! It is still your 17 years weird girl talking to you about "Trying to deal with depression". I gathered some ideas I am going to share with you guys :sit down(preferably near a bowl of nutella😁),relax your tie,stretch your feet and let it get going
Some methods to help anyone trying to deal with depression like me.....
💧Firstly you can try writing
Writing all what you feel on a peice of paper helps a lot when you feel depressed ( I tried it and it works). Actually many psalms in the bible where inspired by depression. So try that when you see all dark,it may help you.
💧Prayers
Who is more present to listen to us in our dark moments?? Jehovah God. Don't restrict yourself from speaking to your father,open your heart to him .He is willing and ready to listen to him. Ask him for help and comfort. His arms will comfort you and give you joy
💧Speak
Think about a friend, family member or fellow Christian who is willing to hear you out. Don't choke your emotions in .Speaking to someone about your problems will not make them disappear but will relief you a lot. The person might help you in solving them or even make you see the positive side of things,carry a part of the burden and make you feel light. The person may be the remedy to your depression.
💧conclusion
Conclusion, be patient. Things will change with time. You will feel better even before you know it. If None of the 3 methods worked out for you,just take a walk. It might help you feel better.
