"Ready, Rio?"

I gave a faint nod and posed for the cameras around me.

Hindi ko alam kung paano ako nakagalaw at nakapagpatuloy ang trabaho. The information I learned was too much for me to take in, and for me to function after learning it was a miracle.

I was in my auto-pilot mode the whole time we were shooting for the first set of jewelry. I tried to maintain composure. I hope I was keeping it natural in front of these cameras, these people. I hope I succeeded in keeping it professional after what I heard.

"Rio, pinapatanong ng head director kung pwede raw ba ulitin ang ibang shots ng first set." Bungad ni Ryne sa akin nang mag-break.

Wala sa usapan ang pagkakaron ng break dahil ang goal ay matapos ang shoot before 11 am. But because of me, I think we will extend? I mentally sighed.

"Sure, Ryne." I blinked as my shoulders slumped. So, I didn't succeed?

"Okay ka lang ba? You seemed off the first few shots." Usisa n'ya.

I slowly filled my lungs with air. Tumango ako.

"I am. Sorry, medyo bangag lang. Hindi sanay na ganito kaaga ang shoot." Palusot ko.

She looked at me worriedly for a few moments before nodding understandingly.

"It's fine, we can't get it all right the first time. Kaunti na lang naman ang i-re-reshoot so the first set is not a fail."

I forcefully gave her a smile and a nod.

After this I want to confront Ran if that Hekasi guy was telling the truth. Kung sana kanina pa ay may oras pa ako sana natanong ko na siya kaya lang pagkatapos n'yang sabihin 'yon ay pinatawag na agad ako ng head director para magsimula na.

For now, I'm gonna clear my head and forget about it.

Niyuko ko ang phone at binuksan yon. My heart thumped against my chest when there was a notification from Aries.

Aries de Jesus:

Ang ganda mo.

I will make this my lock screen.

A smile played on my lips when I read his replies. Mabilis akong nag-type ng reply sa kanya.

Me:

Thanks. I love the muffins you made. Ang galing mo magluto. See you later!

Inilapag ko agad ang phone ko pagkatapos kong i-type yon. I wanna seize the light feeling his messages brought me.

"Let's continue? Okay ka na?" Ryne asked when she saw me standing up. Bahagya pa siyang nagulat sa biglaan kong pagtayo.

"Yeah, let's go."

Tumayo siya para tawagin ang head director at sabihing okay na ako para ituloy ang shoot.

I put my best face and attitude as soon as the cameras rolled. I focused on the concept I memorized in my head, to the lights, and the lenses in front of me.

"Great! Give me another one, Rio!" The head director clapped while observing my shots on the monitor.

Mas lalo akong ginanahan sa narinig.

I tried to think of more poses while flashing a pose in the cameras. I came up with new interpretations of the concept, hence, the new variation of poses and expressions. And I think the whole team loved it.

"Gosh, we were so right getting you for this shoot, Rio!" The director complimented as soon as the shoot was done.

I grinned at them and slightly bowed my head. Ang ibang staff ay tinutulungan na ako sa pagtatanggal ng butterfly wings sa likod at fake elf ears.
