~3rd POV~

The next day after that fateful meeting, Fuyuki and the rest of the members of Scepter 4 were indeed given a mountain of paperwork to do after an extremely dreadful meeting.

It was tough but she definitely preferred this rather than being treated as a gofer. Life's been pretty peaceful for our tragic protagonist.

Domyoji and her made up and eventually became manga buddies. She and Kamo traded recipes from time to time. She even exchanges a odd artefacts and items with Goto.

Awashima herself became quite attached to Fuyuki due to her strong, independent yet fun-loving nature. Yayoi Yoshino became friends with her quite quickly as she found her to be "easy" to approach.

As for our favourite tongue-clicking boy, he found himself being quite fond of our little assassin whether he realised it or not.

She would help out with his work, eat with him during lunch and talk random shit since he's such a loner. Feeling the need to do something in return, he would train her in her sword techniques.

Amongst everyone, Fuyuki found herself spending most of her time with Fushimi as she was slowly being drawn towards him for a reason she could not find.

On her rare days off, she would chill out at Homra with Yata and Anna and the rest of the guys. On even rarer days, she, Yata and Fushimi would hang out together like how high school students would after school.

These seemingly peaceful days were not entirely dedicated to work and fun though. Each night, she would gather every piece of information available about Munakata.

Where he lives, what time he sleeps and wakes up, when he eats and even what he eats and the times he is alone.

'Every single minute detail is necessary to carry out his assassination flawlessly' she thought to herself every night.

Whenever she woke up from what little sleep she got, she would always find her pillow drenched in her tears.

She never recalled crying the night before. However, she does recall reliving the memories she made during her sleep.

"I don't deserve to cry." She would scoff at herself while fashioning a crooked smile once in a while.

~Fuyuki's POV~

When I woke up at about 5.50am, I felt a familiar sensation against my face. "Not again..." I sighed, seeing a darkened, moist patch on my pillow.

I did my daily routine and reported for duty earlier than usual. "Good morning Yuki-chan~" Domyoji chimed.

"It's Fuyuki, and good morning to you." I replied with a warm smile.I greeted everyone the same way and was met with a similar response.

Due to Hidaka and Akiyama falling prey to the harsh weather conditions, we got more work than we bargained for.

Since I was annoyed with the additional load, I got too immersed in my work and finished it earlier than others.

"You're finished already? Well then, could you help me deliver something to a certain bar?" Awashima-san requested as I reported in my progress.

"Yes ma'am!" She sent me off with a gentle smile, knowing how much I enjoy their company.Without a care in the world, I departed for Homra.

It's already been 39 days since I arrived huh? Time really does fly when you're having fun. As I make my way down the streets of Shizume town, I wondered what should I do today.

Proving the weather forecast wrong, a sudden downpour occurred. "Bloody hell! The news said it was gonna be sunny!" I snapped as I bolted towards the bar.

The feeling of raindrops caressing my skin, the sound it makes, the nostalgic smell it possesses and the adrenaline in my veins as I ran reminded me of that time.

Thats right, they saved me on a day like this...
