It's been awhile since I uploaded so I quickly put this chapter together. As of right now, it's 2:54 in the morning.
I stayed up late for you peoples!
That at least deserves a few votes in my opinion...
Anyway, since I put this together in like the last hour I haven't edited it. I will though. You know... when I get to it.
Unless my laziness takes over and holds me captive...
So enjoy!

I waited by Stazi's locker on Monday morning. Apologies had to be made. She was my best friend and I didn't feel completely myself without her sarcastic yet preppy attitude.
As soon as she saw me, she froze for a minute and then began walking back the way she came.
"Stazi, wait!" I called.
She ignored me, her long legs taking long strides. I had to hurry to catch up.
"Will you please stop?" I cried.
As she stopped, I reached out and touched her arm. She visibly sighed and then slowly turned to face me, a sad expression on her face. "What do you want?"
"I want to say I'm sorry and-" I started to reply.
"That's it?"
"Dammit, let me talk." I said, frustration lining my voice. Couldn't she set the stubbornness aside for a few minutes? "I want to say I'm sorry for not supporting your relationship with Logan. My bad history with him had me wanting to protect you. Since then, I've learned that I need to let you make your own mistakes.. if Logan turns out to be one."
Her expression changed. I watched as a sweet smile slipped onto her lips and she reached out to hug me. I quickly hugged her back and listened as she talked in my ear. "Ella, if Logan turns out to be a mistake you'll be the first to know. As of right now, I'm happy with him."
We both pulled out of the embrace and I smiled at her, showing that I was okay with that. "I just don't want you to get hurt."
"I understand that, and I appreciate it. That's why you're my best friend." she grinned at me. "Hey, you wanna grab a soda before class?"
"Sure." I agreed. We began walking in the direction of the vending machine. "So what all happened at the dance?"
"Oh my gosh, Ariella! You missed so much!" she squealed. "Apparently someone spiked the punch bowl, so almost everyone had a buzz. Mr. Finnigan was not happy, especially since he had a few drinks of it himself."
I laughed. "I can't imagine Mr. Finnigan as a happy drunk."
"Agreed. He was yelling at everyone he saw."
"How did it go with Logan?"
A happy gleam appeared in her eyes. "We danced every slow song, and he kissed me every chance he could! You know how happy you felt once you realized you actually made it to Paris?"
I nodded my head yes.
"That's how I felt when he kissed me! The angels started singing and I could've sworn the clouds parted."
"Um, Stazi? Your girly side is showing.." I laughed.
She laughed with me and I suddenly felt alot better about our relationship. It felt great to have my best friend back, even if she was acting a bit different.
I blamed it on the hormones.
