||Hana's POV

"That day, Paris was engulfed in a gentle tune of rain that would unease the calm psyches."

I looked up from my book, which was gently laying on my lap, turning my head mildly to the right to see the view the train window portrayed; singular rain drops grazing the window sill as autumn leaves flew in rhythm with the breeze.

Speak of the devil.

I sighed as I close the book in a swift motion, placing it back where it resides usually, in my handbag. Throwing my handbag lazily to the side, I move my hands and place my palms on either side of my ramen bowl as the radiating heat gently heals my stiff hands from the cold of the train cabin room I sat in.

I gazed- and gazed- at the light wisps of steam rising from the ramen meal, gently blowing it for it to cool. Simultaneously, my head was clouded with various thoughts regarding the Overwatch Academy.

Overwatch is a co-operation firm which specialises in the attempted abolishment of injury, damage and death as a result of the omnic crisis. Although it has ended a few years ago, many specialising individuals fear such a crisis may return in the coming years.

As I'm now 19, I am of legal age to be signed up to one of the Overwatch Headquarters around the world, but firstly, I must attend their Academy, Overwatch High, to even get an opportunity to be signed up by one of the Headquarters' leaders.

I sigh at the very thought.

There is going to be a lot of competition, not only for the actual recruitment but for the Academy application itself. This will be difficult..

I groan as my mind further wonders towards that initiative. Obviously, with the work and effort I've put into my résumé, it will be quite a bummer if I don't even get through the first stage of getting closer to my goal.

As I am still in a some-what trance, I take a small sip of the ramen, the contact of it slightly tingling my lips. I reverted my eyes back to my laptop, my résumé projected on the screen. I analyse it for what feels like the hundredth time when a small knock from the door of the cabin room door stops me in my tracks.

Weird, I don't remember ordering a service of any kind..

I heave my body up from the seat as I make my way to the door. I open the door gently in my direction to see three guys, around my age, standing in front of me.

"Excuse me, is this the room that was listed to be shared between 4 separate individuals.. specifically applying for the Academy?" one of the boys asks in a calm, laid back manner as his hands are held in his trouser pockets. The green tips of his black hair were quite prominent when compared to the image of other two.

God, I forgot that I didn't book a private carriage, at the end of the day.

I cleared my throat before replying. "Oh yes, nice to meet you, I'm Hana." I shyly mumble as I lift my hand up in front of me, awkwardly.

The guy with the green tips took my hand into his and shakes it casually. "I'm Genji, nice to meet you. This is my close mate Jack and my brother Hanzo," Genji said before I exchanged handshakes with the other two, the boys being quite welcoming and nice as the smile while doing so. I open the door a bit wider, closing it upon their entrance.

The three guys looked around the room a bit while I took my seat and went back to doing what I was beforehand, despite the fact that checking my résumé at this point is really quite unnecessary.

"Dude, the fact that there's like another twelve hours to go before we even reach Paris.." Jack groaned as he sat down beside me, throwing his head back from tiredness. The other two sat directly across from us, chuckling at his statement.

"You could always take a nap, it is around twelve o'clock after all," I proposed as I took a quick glance at my watch, turning my head towards Jack. His blue eyes looking at mine as I start to feel my cheeks slightly fluster, although, I don't think it was very prominent.

He is pretty good looking after all..

Jack smirked cockily at my statement before whipping his phone and fumbling through it.

"Nah.." he responded simply. "I may have had too many drinks beforehand, I'll try in a few hours maybe for an hour or two."

I nodded as I see the other two fellows rolling their eyes, amused clearly. I smile to myself as I turn off my laptop and chuck it back into my handbag. I pressed my hands once more on the ramen bowl as I sipped a bit more.

"Oh Hana, where can you order food here from?" Hanzo inquired, his eyes looking at me, more specifically my ramen. I wiped my mouth gently with my hand before responding. "You can go to the checkout at the end of the aisle that way and make an order if you want."

Hanzo thanked me as he excused himself, leaving the three of us in the room. I continue slurping my ramen, the contrast between the radiating heat from the ramen and the decreasing temperature of the room becoming ever so present. I shiver gently at the thought as I see Jack's gaze glancing at me from the corner of his eyes.

"There you go, Hana," Jack says as he props himself up, taking his bomber jacket off and gently putting it around my shoulder in response to my shivering. I thank him with gratitude as I see Genji smirking cockily to himself.

"What's so funny, bud?" Jack inquires, his gaze returning to his phone.

"It seems like you hit up every girl you see, thinking you're good looks can charm anyone," Genji laughs as Jack scoffs in response.

"It was a kind gesture, she was cold!" Jack defensively replied, his tone playful.  I giggled in response as Jack looks over at me, smiling. Genji rolls his eyes cockily while beaming to himself, burrowing his face into his sweater's sleeve.

"Should've covered up a bit more Hana, Jack cannot keep his hands of girls that even show a bit of skin~," he sarcastically laughs as Jack rolls his eyes amused, smirking to himself.

"Dude, chillax. She was coldddddd," Jack moaned like a little child, overextending his statement. I covered my mouth and giggled as the two exchanged hilarious blows.

When I thought it couldn't get better, Hanzo returns, closing the door behind me. He squints his eyes as his gaze follows to myself, wearing Jack's jacket.

"Is Jack hitting up another girl?" Hanzo leered as his gaze now turns to Genji, his head thrown back and his hands grasping his stomach as he tries to control his laughter, unsuccessful.

"She was cold!" Jack semi-yells as he tries to stop himself for laughing as well. The train cabin room was abused with an array of snickers, exchanged blows and sarcastic, petty insults exchanged among the four of us.

Well, this train ride got a whole lot more interesting.
