Kenny McCormick - March 19, 2004

My locker slammed shut, causing a few kids to turn their heads. I briskly walked away, clutching my books to my chest. Rushing throughout the crowded halls, I glided skillfully. I've had lots of experience with dodging certain situations, so avoiding students is like a child's game to me. It's become very easy.

I walked into my first class of the day and sat in the back. As usual, the teacher was just stacking books on the bookshelf next to his desk. He nodded at me and I nodded back, signaling a greeting.

The class was practically empty, besides the kid sitting in the front. Ben, I think his name was? Oh well, who cares anyway. The bell rang, causing students to flood through the door and scramble into their seats.

"Alright students. Get out your journals!" The whole class groaned in union, including me. I hated these stupid journals. They're useless! I picked up my red journal and opened it up to a blank page.

"Alright! As you know, plants have a different way of..." I stared out the window, tuning out everything around me besides the wind outside. The wind was so peaceful and so calming. Time flew by, as the wind slowly blew past. And in seconds, the bell rang. I picked up my stuff and headed out the door, only to be greeted by Cartman.

"Yo, Ken. I need to talk to you." I sighed, knowing that this might be another scheme.

"What?" Cartman laughed, then continued.

"I need your help."

"With what?" I knew it. He only ever smiles or laughs when he's trying to convince someone of something.

"Can you hang out with Stan after school?" Cartman smiled and used his signature trick - puppy eyes. I sighed in annoyance but gave in.

"Sure. Why not?" Cartman quickly thanked me, then ran off. That was...strange? Oh well. I walked out of the doorway, and into the crowded hall.
