Kyle Broflovski - March 18, 2004
Beep! Beep! Beep!
I slammed my hand down onto my alarm clock, as banging could be heard downstairs. Great. Just great. Mom was yelling at Ike again. I sighed, as I lazily pushed myself out of bed. I looked in the mirror, only to be greeted by my messy, lazy reflection.
My curly red hair flew in all directions, and my green eyes were rimmed with bags. I tried time and time again to comb the tangled mess called my hair, but the comb always just ended up getting stuck. I sighed, pulled on my green trapper hat and walked out of the bathroom.
I walked back into my room and lazily threw on a white t-shirt and my ripped jeans. I walked out of my room, with the normal straight face I always wore.
"IKE BROFLOVSKI! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU GOT SUSPENDED AGAIN FOR SMOKING!"
"Mom chill out, Firkle does it too."
"WELL I'M NOT FIRKLE'S MOM! I DON'T GIVE A SHIT IF HE SMOKES! BUT YOU, YOUNG MAN, AREN'T ALLOWED TO SMOKE! NOR WILL YOU EVER BE!"
Ugh. Not this again. Ike has gotten suspended 5 times for smoking with the goth kids. I shook my head in disapproval and walked to the fridge. I quickly ate a cold pop tart, then walked to the coat rack to retrieve my orange and green jacket.
I pulled it on and grabbed my bookbag. I waved goodbye to my mom and Ike, then ran out the door. I ran down the busy sidewalk and crossed the street to the bus stop, which was surprisingly empty.
Usually, I'm the 3rd person to get there, but I guess I was early today. I stood under the shining sun, which was half covered by the clouds above.
"Hey, Kyle!" I looked up, as my super best friend Stan ran up to me at a fast pace. His black hair fell over his well-framed face, which was half hidden by his blue and red poof-ball hat. His blue eyes shimmered in the sunlight, and he wore his brown jacket as usual.
"Hey." I lazily waved back, as a smile appeared on my face.
About a few minutes later, Kenny had arrived with Cartman trailing behind him. Kenny muffled something that I couldn't understand, for the attachment to his hood on his orange parka was covering his mouth.
His blonde hair stuck out of the hood of his parka, and his blue eyes stayed dull, even under the sunlight. As with Cartman, he looked the same as usual. He wore his red hoodie, and his brown hair was half hidden under his blue and yellow poof-ball hat. He had surprisingly gotten skinnier though, but he was still considered chubby.
"Sup, Jew."
"Hey, Fatass."
The bus pulled up to the curb, and the doors creaked open. We all shuffled onto the bus, and I quickly claimed the seat next to Stan, while Kenny sat behind us and Cartman sat in the seat across from us.
The bus slowed to a stop, as the kids jumped out of their seats and piled up into the aisle and out the door. I ran into the school, trying to avoid the large mass of students raging behind me. I ran to my locker, quickly threw my bookbag inside and grabbed my books and left.
As I walked through the hall, I felt as if I was being watched. I looked over my shoulder, but no one was there. I fastened my pace and tried to keep my mind off of the feeling of eyes burning through my skull.
I ran into my classroom, and sat in the back of the room, in the seat farthest from the door. The feeling had disappeared now, and the scenery was much more peaceful now. I pulled out my homework and quietly waited for class to start.
The bell rang, signaling the beginning of class. The rest of the students piled into the room, with the teacher not far behind them. Everyone scrambled into random seats, as the teacher just sat at her desk and organized papers. She waited a few seconds, then stood up.
