As we went outside, we hopped in my black F-150, which was jacked up on massive tires, and shiny chrome rims. Yes, I'm a girly girl, but I absolutely love cars and trucks.
Once we got to the party, it was packed. Almost all of the Sophmore and Junior class was there, even some Seniors. I don't drink but I love to party, which is how I got the nickname 'Party Animal.'
As me and Mackenzie made our way into the kitchen, I saw Jason wearing dark blue jeans, with a black long sleeve shirt, with the first few buttons unbuttoned. When he turned around and saw us, he did, basically a double take at the sight of us. I guess, cause i usually don't wear this much make-up, or shorts this short, with four inch heels. I couldn't help the smile on my face when, he made eye contact with me.
"Hey Gray, you look... Great!" he announced while giving me a hug.
"Aw, thanks Jason, you don't look so bad yourself," I replied with a little smirk.
"Well yaw go have fun, I've got a few things to do real quick," he said with a small frown.
I frowned too. I should've known that since this was his party, he couldn't party too much. And when I say he couldn't party too much, I mean he couldn't party with me!
And breaking me from my thoughts, Mackenzie saved the day, "No you two go dance, I'll hold down the fort, while you're gone."
"Oh, well thanks, Kenzie, you wanna go dance?" Jason said while holding out his hand.
"Yea!" I replied almost a little too quickly. As we walked out of the kitchen hand in hand i turned my head around to Mackenzie and mouthed the word, thanks, and give her the biggest, cheesiest smile, i could conjure up.
Jason had his hands on both of my hips, his chest on my back while we danced. He put his head in the crook of my neck, and said, "I'm glad you came."
I turned my head around so I could see, his pretty blue eyes, and said with a smile, "I wouldn't miss it for the world."
When Jason left because he had to go check on something, I just continued to dance with some of my other friends.

Jasons POV
I saw Mackenzie flagging me over out of the corner of my eye, and she had a really excited look on her face. So as much as it hurt to leave the girl I was dancing with, the girl I had basically been in love with since sixth grade, I wanted to see what Mackenzie had to say.
Right when I got over there, she said, "She wants to try the whole you and her thing."
"What?" was the only thing I could conjure up.
"She told me earlier, that she has always liked you too, she just never wanted to risk yaws friendship. And I convinced her that since it's summer, nows the time to try, and she wants to. She was freaking out over what to wear, since she admitted that she liked you." Mackenzie replied.
I was probaly smiling ear to ear, when she said that. I can't believe that after all these years of me liking her, I might actually get a chance with her. I just think she is absolutely beautiful, especially with that cute southern accent of hers. She has gorgeous brown curly long hair, her skin beautifully bronzed since she spends basically all her time outside. Speaking of outside, dang can that girl ride a horse. She looks so sexy when she wears her tight riding jeans with her boots and plaid shirt, with her favorite cowgirl hat. After daydreaming about how beautifully she looked, I was rudely interrupted by Mackenzie.
"Well, aren't you gonna go talk to her?" she snapped.
I just walked away with a smile on my face, and basically floated the the living room, where I left her dancing. Once I got there my smile quickly turned into a frown, when I saw some guy shoving his tongue down her throat. When I was about to start crying, I watched in amazement as I saw her yank away slap the guy and walk over to another group of girls as she continued to dance. I couldn't help but smile, knowing she wouldn't make out with the drunk douche bag.
I kept telling myself, 'Nows the time, go get your girl.' And with that I stood up with more confidence and walked over to Gray.
