Grayson POV

Uh! I can't believe that guy just made out with me. A girl he dosen't even know and who is younger than him. He was a senior, the star football player, that apparently thinks he can kiss any girl he wants whenever. My deddy always raised me up talking about how, whenever I find a guy, he must be a gentlemen. He must be a good ole country boy, he can't be afraid to work in the fields, and he must wear cowboy boots. That always would make me laugh, when deddy would say that, 'You can always tell a man by the boots he wears.'

I saw Jason making his way back over to me, which made me smile. When he got over to me, he asked if he could talk to me in private. Of course I said 'Sure!' And with that he grabbed my hand and led me towards his bedroom. I knew this whole house like it was my own. Like I said earlier we're best friends and I have been to his house hundreds of times.

Once we got to his room, he shut the door and turned the light on. He walked over to where I was standing, and held both of my hands. We just kinda stood like that for a few minutes staring into each others eyes. Me staring into his beautiful blue eyes, while he stared into my big brown eyes.

After a while of that, he started speaking softly to me saying, "Grayson, I've been wanting to tell you something for like five years now, and I know I should have told you sooner, but I just didn't know how to say it, so I just wanted to tell you that..."

"Hey dude, the football team is ruining your party!" Some dude ran in to tell Jason, which interupted our "moment" so with that we went in the living room to find people running in with kegs, and cartons of beer. And with that I found Mackenzie and we got out of there before it got too bad.

See, my parents have always trust me, I don't break the rules, I make good grades in school, and I have never given them a reason to not trust me. So they know I don't drink, and as long as I tell them where I am, they don't mind me going out late at night. And it was already 1am and I have to get up at six every morning to feed the horses.

Right when we got in the car, Mackenzie asked, "So, did you and Jason talk?" And with that I replied, "No, we where in the middle of it and he was about to tell me something really important, when some guy ran in to tell Jason about the Football team, and with that we went to look and there are kegs everywhere, which is why I grabbed you, so we wouldn't get dragged into it.

"Well dang, I  was hoping he would ask you," she said with a long sigh afterwards.

"Me too," I said with a frown.

Once we got to the house, and parked my truck, we used the ladder on the side of my balcony to go up so we wouldn't wake my parents. This is how we normally get to my room, when we come home late at night. It's usually not that hard to go up it, but considering that I'm in four inch heels, it was pretty hard. Once we got up to my room we both took quick showers and when I got out of mine, Mackenzie was already in my bed asleep, and with that I brushed my hair, brushed my teeth, said my prayers and went to bed also, knowing that getting up at six the next morning was going to be pretty rough.
