I woke up this morning to the annoying sound of my alarm. I turned it off and got out of bed quietly, trying not to wake Mackenzie. But, of course, I'm not that lucky. The alarm woke her up too. "Where are you going missy?" she asked, her eyebrows knit in confusion.

"Where do I go every morning?" I asked with my hands on my hips.

"Oh yeah, stupid horses. Well since I'm already up can I come with you?" she asked still a little sleepily.

"Yeah, come on, I'll get you some clothes." I then got out two work outfits, which is what I wear everyday. My Daisy Duke shorts, a plaid button up shirt, which I usually tie it up mid-waist, cause it gets so hot. Then I grab my boots, and my favorite cowgirl hat and I'm good to go. I pulled out a purple plaid shirt for me and a yellow plaid shirt for Mackenzie. After we both got dressed, Mackenzie was looking at me funny while I was tying my shirt up in a bow, just like Daisy on the Dukes of Hazzard.

"What, this is how I wear it every day, it gets really hot out there..." I replied.

"It's okay with me, I like it, it looks sexy, I'm just not used to you looking like that!" she said.

'Well, you better start, cause I wear this everyday, and considering you're basically living with me this summer, you'll see it alot. Anyways, deddy told me we where having visitors today so i'm gonna put a little make-up on." I said while walking into the bathroom.

I put on powder, mascara, and a little eyeliner on the bottom, just to make my eyes pop. I then put my cowgirl hat on and just left my natural curls fall down my back. Once we both got ready we jogged down the stairs and went out the door, to do the daily feeding and helping around the farm. We've got everything from horses, which is what we mainly have, cows, bulls, pigs, chickens, ducks, dogs, cats, and we even got a gator in the pond. He's only four feet long and he is adorable.

We walked through the big iron gate, that had our ranch symbol for the Smith's, and walked to the barn. I immediately grabbed two buckets filled them with feed, and fed my main horses, Dixie and Duke. I usually ride Dixie and let Mackenzie ride Duke. So we saddled up and went for a ride. After making our way to the main pasture, we rode back to the barn because, we noticed that my deddy had pulled up, apparently just getting in from town. When we got to the barn I realized deddy had a truckload of feed, so I hopped off Dixie to help deddy carry them. I go to pick one up, when some guy I don't know speaks up.

"Here sweetheart, you can't lift that by yourself, I got it." he said.

"I think I can manage," I snapped back, while lifting one of the 100 pound bags of feed. When I got back to the truck all the feed had been unloaded, which is when I turned around to see my dad and asked, "So who are they?"

"Oh, sorry sweetie, these are the Stringer brothers, they just moved here from Mississippi. They're gonna start working here to help me around," he said with a smile. "Well, I gotta go tell your mother I'm back from town, so why don't you show them around," he shouted while walking towards the house.

"Well, hello their beautiful, I'm Andrew... Andrew Stringer, and this is my brother, Kyle," he said while offering his hand to shake.

I shook his hand with a small smile, while saying, "Well I'm Grayson, but everyone calls me Gray. And this is my best friend Mackenzie. She basically lives with me." With that she shook their hands and I led them over to the barn. I put them on Bullet and Johnny, and while they where saddling them up me and Mackenzie walked back to Dixie and Duke. "I call dibs on Andrew." I said quietly.

"Fine by me, I like Kyle," she said with a smile creeping on her lips.

They where both gorgeous, Kyle having dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. He was tall and buff too. But Andrew, Lord help me, he was gorgeous his brown hair and his big beautiful brown eyes were just hypnotizing. He was tall and you could tell he was very buff. He had on jeans, boots, and a plaid button up shirt. With a cowbot hat. Dang, I could just eat him up. By the time we got back to the horses, they had already made it over to us, saddled up and ready to go. As I was getting on Dixie, I saw Andrew staring at me out of the corner of my eye, and then I retorted, "You done starin?" with a sly smile on my lips.

His next comment made me get butterflies inside, "Just watching your graceful and perfect mount up."

I just smiled and took off on Dixie. I turned around half way down the road to see him smiling.

I knew right then and there, that this is going to be and interesting summer.
