Demi's POV
"Goodnight champ" Max said as I headed upstairs. I flashed him a smile and headed to my room. I closed my bedroom door and began to free myself my clothes. I slowly walked myself I to my bathroom and ran some bath water. I poured some lavender bubble bath into it and lit a couple of candles. Slowly, I sat down in the water until it was at my chin. Sighing, I closed my eyes. My body tensed up as I remember a text I had received from Nick.
Nick: Demi stop texting me it's over. Everything we had us over. I don't love you like that. I can't bare the thought of having a sexual relationship with you. I don't know how to make you understand without being harsh. You will always be my besfriend, but I think we might've ruined the friendship. I don't love you. I'm sorry.
My eyes filled with tears. Not only had I lost the love of my life, I had also lost best friend. I fucked up so bad. I sank down I to the water until my body was completely submerged. When I ran out of air, I still didn't want to come up. When I felt myself slipping away, I came up out of the water gasping for air. I pushed my hair back and sobbed into my hands.
I grabbed a towel and wrapped it around me. As I walked out of the bathroom, I caught of glimpse of myself in the mirror. I had mascara running down my face. I sighed and grabbed a makeup wiped my face clean. Congratulations Jonas, you ruined me.
I slipped out of my towel and into some underwear and a t-shirt. I curled up into my blanket and drifted off to sleep. Goodnight world.
Max's POV
I watched as Demi slowly made her way to the stairs.
"Goodnight Champ" I said as she shot me a sly smile. As soon as I heard her bedroom door close, I got Mike on the phone.
"She's gotten bad, she slipping again" I said as he picked up the phone.
"What do you mean" Mike said stunned. "She was fine yesterday at our session. She was her same by bubbly self."
"She broke down at the restaurant, I had to basically carry her out" I said quietly, hoping she wouldn't hear.
"Why didn't you call me earlier then" Mike snapped, annoyance clearly present in his voice.
"She told me not to, something is up Mike and I'm worried." I said watching the staircase to my right. "You should've saw her today. She blacked out and looked liked she was about to faint. I've never seen her like that before."
"Where is she now" Mike asked his voice filled with exhaustion. It was late at night and I knew he was probably already in bed.
"She's upstairs sleeping"
"Can you go check on her, if you want, sleep in the room with her so she has company. I don't want her trying anything. I'll be there in the morning. Goodnight Max." Mike said before hanging up the phone.
I put down my phone with a sigh and headed to the closet to grab a blanket. I quietly opened Demi's door to reveal her wrapped up in her blanket fast asleep. I saw her tear stained cheeks and sighed. I knew she was out for the night. Just as u was about to sit down in her couch in the far corner of her room, her phone buzzed. I ignored it the first time. But after the next three times I was curious. I slowly made my way towards her phone. I picked it up and across the screen was a text message from a random number.
Anonymous: When will you tell me you love me
Anonymous: Will you're family ever know a out us.
Anonymous: I love you

The number didn't look like it was saved. It had no name to it. I quickly copied down the number and returned her phone to it's original spot. My mind wandered as I realized Demi has been dating someone without any of us knowing. How has she been doing that when she has security all around the clock. Not trying to start anything late at night I drifted off to sleep.
Unknowns POV
I chuckled to myself as I sent each text. I knew that security guard of hers would get nosy soon. I was waiting for hell to strike so she could come running back to me. It was only a matter of time before I can crush her stupid ass heart. Karma's a bitch. After her room light went off, I knew my work was done for the day. Tomorrow, hell breaks loose and I get to to watch it go down. Getting revenge is way to easy, especially when she is vulnerable like she is.
Demi's POV
I woke up to a bright sunbeam peering through my window. I squinted as I sat up, sighing the fact that I had to face another day. I looked over at Max who was passed out on the couch. I sighed even deeper realizing that he was so worried about next that he had to come sleep in my room.
Slowly lifting my self off the bed I headed to my bathroom. "Goodmorning" I whispered to myself. I looked like I hadn't slept in days. My hair was a mess and my face was discolored. I snapped into shape as I realized what was planned today. As I came to my realization voices came from downstairs. I slipped into some pants and a robe and headed to the sink.
"We're here" a choir of people said in a cheerful tone. I quickly splashed cold water in my face and ran downstairs forcing a smile on my face.
"Hey guys" I exclaimed as Jill, Ceaser and Kelsey stood in front of me. Max joined them as he appeared out of the kitchen. He gave me a sympathetic look and sat down.
"Oh honey you look like you've been through hell" Jill said sitting me down on a chair, handing me a glass of water. I gulped down the water but winced as the cold water hit my throat. I hadn't had any food or water since the restaurant yesterday.
"I'm just a little tired" I quickly said. "I didn't get much sleep" I added giving her a sly smile.
Jill nodded and told me to tie my hair up. We were doing hair and makeup at my house today because the shoot was at my house. I sat as Jill did a natural look on me halfway through I noticed I didn't have my phone.
"Hey Kels can you go get my phone from upstairs". She nodded and headed upstairs. I few seconds later I heard some footsteps behinds me followed by my phone being tossed into my lap. "Thanks Kels" I said. When I turned my phone on I saw the messages from that unknown number. I sighed deeply as I opened them.

"What the fuck" I exclaimed quietly, causing Jill to look at my phone. I quickly locked it and turned it over. Jill gave me a suspicious look but continued working. I look at Max who was watching me closely. He squinted at me and then looked at my phone. Instead of responding, I started playing with my fingers.
"All done!" Jill shouted, startling me out of my thoughts. I smiled big and showered Jill with a bunch of thank yous.
"My turn!" Ceaser shouted waving a bunch if extensions around.
I chuckled at his movements. "In a minute, let me pee". I said quickly jumping up from my chair. I disappeared around the corner and made sure I was out of sight. I opened the messages to respond to them.
Demi: Why are you still texting me. What did I do to you. Leave me alone please. You've ruined everything already. What do you want? I'll do anything for you to leave me alone.
"I thought you had to pee" Max said causing me to jump back. "But instead I find you angrily typing at your phone. What's up Dems" he said taking a step closer. His voice was close to a whisper.
I shook my head and shoved my phone into my pocket. I turned to go to the bathroom, but was stopped by Max grabbing my arm. "I'm worried Demi. What's going on in your head? I saw the messages. Why are you keeping things from us."
I shook my head "It's not what it seems I swear. It's more to it. I can't tell you though" I said frustrated. "Just trust me please" I said. "Just let it go Max, please just for me. Keep this between us" I begged. I was interrupted by the door opening.
"Where's Demi" Mike's booming voice said as his heavy footsteps echoed across the room.
"Are you serious" I said wiping my face. I gave Max a look and then dashed for the bathroom. This can't be happening.
This chapter was meant to be confusing. Demi hasn't told everything. There more to it, stay tuned.
