"What the fuck Demi he beat the shit out of you and you're just going to calmly talk to him. You almost tore my eye out for leaving Batman at the groomers for too long" Kelsey screamed. Her arms were flying all over the place and her voice was choky. She really hated seeing him. I saw a trace of a smirk on Lukes face as he watched her flip out.
"Relax Kelsey we're good now" I lied, taking her hand. I looked her directly in the eye. "Kelsey let it go please" I pleaded.
"You're not good Demi, you're lying to me. Why are you lying to me" she choked out. I'd never seen this side of Kelsey. She was never this emotional and vulnerable. "You never lie to me" she sobbed.
Just like I just pressed pause on her, she froze. She slowly turned to Luke. Her face twisted up in confusion and realization at the same time. "What are you doing to her" she said in a whisper. She repeated, her voice grew louder each time. In one swift movement, she grabbed me by my wrist and dragged me out the door. Tears were streaming down both of our faces.
I tried to pull away, but her grip was tight. "Kesley I can't leave you don't understand. You're putting me at risk". I looked behind me to see Luke angrily marching after us. "Kelsey!" I screamed my voice shaking and cracking. "You can't do this. You're going to make it worse." I cared about my career to much.
She stopped dead in her tracts. "Do you want him to beat you again" she said turning around. "I'm not letting that happen. I'm not letting you sit in your bed and sob for two months straight again. It's not happening." She yelled. She pulled me behind her as Luke approached us. Her face was bright red and wet from crying.
"You can't have her" she said while looking at him dead in the eye. He smirked and folded his arms across his chest.
"You either move or you get dragged into this too" he said
"What do you mean?" Kelsey questioned. She loosened her grip on my wrist and I silently yelped in pain as the blood went rushing into my hand.
"Kelsey leave now, you don't want to be apart of this. We have a deal. That's all I can tell you". I quietly said while walking out from behind her. "Leave" I pleaded.
"I'm not leaving, Demi lets go" just like that I was being dragged to Kelsey's car. Luke angrily watched me and I sobbed harder because I knew my life was over.
Phil's POV
"Getting rid of her is going to be harder than I thought". I said as I sat down at my desk. I inhaled deeply and began to think.
"I'm done dealing with her bullshit, I need something that'll give me a reason to drop her. Kelsey didn't touch you at all?" I questioned Luke as he toyed with the name tag on my desk.
"No, she just dragged Demi away. She was hysterical but she didn't try to touch me. I didn't get around to trying to grab Demi, that's why. She didn't have a reason to".
I sighed and leaned back into my chair. "I'm just going to have to drop her. I want something fresh and new and Demi isn't it. I only used her for her sob story and now that that's not working I don't want her. She's successful but boring." I ranted as Luke sat and listened. He sat and nodded occasionally.
"You can quit the act now, I don't need you anymore. You'll be payed tomorrow." I said as I pulled out my phone. Luke nodded and pulled out his phone.
"Let me bring her here first. I'll drop her and then you can tell her everything." I explained.
Me: Demi we need to talk. Meet me at my office in 20 minutes.
Demi's POV
I sunk down into my seat as I watched Luke get smaller and smaller. I dropped my head into my hands and inhaled. Kelsey drove fast and angrily. Her face had the same look on it for the first half over the drive.
