💔💔💔💔
At the doctors office.
Adrien was placed on the bed by his mother, and Dr. Fu checked Adrien's temperature, heart beat, breathing, both sets of ears, his tail-how it functioned, and such.
"Alright, this won't be a normal check up Mr. and Mrs. Agreste, he's so far so good as of now. If you don't mind, please take a seat and watch very closely...." both parents nodded and sat down, "Adrien, I'm going to do a series of tests on you, and see how you react, if you suddenly react, its alright. If you feel uncomfortable, just let me know, okay?" Dr. Fu, gives him a gentle smile.
Adrien gives him a toothy grin, though one of his teeth was missing, complimenting him even more. All three chuckle at the 5 year old's humor. Dr. Fu reached in his pocket and took out a small silver-cylinder-like object, similar to a small flashlight. Suddenly a small red dot was on the hospital bed in front of Adrien, he slapped his hand over the dot in less than a second, until he saw it on top of his hand. Fu slowly moved the dot to the end of the bed as Adrien followed it, Fu suddenly moves it to the floor, Adrien hops off and lands on the floor, startling both of his parents. Fu puts the laser pointer up. Adrien stood up, unhurt. "I-I fell." he blushes from slight embarrassment.
"It's fine Adrien, it's an instinct"
"An in...in..."
"Instinct. It's something that happens Adrien. Every time when a certain thing comes up, you can't help it....Now...." Dr.Fu trails off, walking to the wall turning off the lights, making sure the blinds were tightly shut.
"I can't see a thing" Gabriel says.
"Woah."
"What do you see Adrien?"
"Evfurrything."
"That can't be possible!" Gabriel starts again.
"Honey."
"Adrien hold your father's hand" Gabriel felt his son's small hand slip into his. Gabriel was completely shocked at what his son could do.
The lights went back on, "Adrien, you're almost done, now its time to show your emotions, but first let me see your hands." he lifted Adrien's hands, nodding, "He hasn't developed extended nails, or claws you can say, that's a good sign. Okay Adrien, I want you to think of something that makes you angry-anything."
"But, I'm not mad."
"Well I want you to."
"But, I-I'm not!" Adrien was starting to become irritated already, usually someone wouldn't be easily irritated at this rate, but Adrien's emotions were slowly being poisoned, bit by bit without him knowing.
It showed through his tail, slowly swaying. His ears slightly twitched.
"Adrien...." the boy stopped and looked at his mother, as Fu noticed the body language in his ears and tail changing.
"Its going to be okay." she smiles. He laughs a little, then looks back at Fu. "Alright, your last test, you're going to hear sounds, tell me what you hear." the doctor says.
Then pure silence. About a minute or two later, Adrien speaks,
" Some birds, a dog, talking, and walking......and that thing that cuts the grass! :D"
"This should show clear signs as he gets older. But,unfortunately, the older Adrien becomes, the worse the disease becomes, it might become un-tamable...." he looks at both parents.
"I had one here before about 15 years ago, a fox I believe. He died from the disease, it was some ears and a fox tail for him." Fu sighs in sorrow, as Adrien hops in his mother's lap.
"This is very important. The same thing will happen to him if you aren't careful. This disease will worsen over time as Adrien grows up, and clear-very clear signs will appear around his teens. Small signs such as: irritability, aggressiveness, and you may not notice it-yet, but this can possibly mentally or emotionally change him. And that's what I worry about."
"By what means, Dr. Fu?" Gabriel was asking all of it.
"The disease could change his personality. Ever heard of a Yandere?"
