I had to stay after work today, to talk to my boss, I just sat in front of the empty desk, with my hands in my lap, looking down. I was still in my uniform, just now noticing that I had on no leggings. Usually employees wears leggings during the cold times of the year. Ethan walked in and sat down. "What's up y/n?" "Well I was wondering about the time I was given two weeks ago and....um..." I say, biting my lip. "Y/n.... it's him isn't it?" I nod. "I haven't heard from him in two weeks, they wouldn't even let me back there! I- I told them to call me about how he's doing, they're saying he w-was poisoned and..." my voice starts to break, "...and he won't wake up!" I sob on the desk. I was shortly embraced in a hug, "I'm sorry." he whispers, I hugged him back tightly, sobbing on his shoulder. He was the guy I loved, my child hood friend. But now he's gone. "He wouldn't want a beautiful girl like you to be sad all the time"
Though Ethan can be a flirt at times, times like this shows he really cares.

I slip on my coat and saw Chat, curled up on the couch as usual. "Chat wanna go outside with me?" I ask him, he looks up at me with sparkles in his eyes and nods.

Me and him walked beside each other as the leaves crunched under our feet. "You've ever been in a forest before?" I look over at Chat, "No..." "Really?!" "No" he blushes. "He he, nothing to be embarrassed about, just curious. You seem like you wasn't familiar with this" I giggle. I stopped in front of a tree and he stared up at it. I gently hold his hand and placed it on the tree. "Do you feel it?" "Feel what? Bark?" "No, the tree. Its one of the many mothers here. It provides for its children" I close my eyes. "It provides for the leaves, and everything else here." I open my eyes and turn to Chat as a ladybug flew on his nose then took off again. I laughed at the innocent expression on his face. "Seems the one of bad luck is lucky today" I wipe a tear. "What?" "They say when a ladybug lands on you, you get good luck" "Well I'm already lucky from the start, ever since I met you" he hold both of my hands looking in my eyes. I blushed, "Oh, well... I'm not that much of a person with luck ^-^;. But thank you Chat." (I adjust my glasses). "Well I just wanted you to know that winter is nearing..." (WINTER IS COMING!!) "It is?" he asks. I nod, "Yup, November is almost over with. Its the 28th!" I say to him. "Plus the next full moon is the 5th of December" I nudge him as I could see the trail ending already. A soft smile soon came on my lips.
